The light doesn?t work. On two separate occasions I have ordered the light and tried to fit it but it wouldn?t work.

I am a touch confused by your feedback and not quite sure where we have gone wrong. You ordered one of these light fittings and subsequently contacted us with an installation query. We attempted to assist you however you requested to return the item, at which point we emailed the necessary details to you. The light fitting was never received back at our warehouse. We were not aware you continued to have difficulty with the installation as we would have been happy to support you with our free technical advice service had we known. We have sold this particular light for over a year with a very positive response from customers. I ordered to Elstead Wall Lights. The Lights arrived inside a large plain cardboard box with no signs of damage. On opening the box the items were fixed in position.However, One of the lights was in a poor condition, with the packaging in a very poor state. A complaint was made the same day and the company offered a very poor excuse suggesting it was a mistake as if no one could have possibly seen the issue when packing!. The company made it the customers problem to resolve by either awaiting a returns label followed delivering the items to a designated pick up point or accepting a non negotiable 15% discount.The whole situation was turned into a damage limitation exercise on the part of this company. I now view this company in a totally different light. You've been warned.

Terrible service once again from this company. No items ever seem to be in stock and everything is put on back order , sometimes for months.Poor correspondent throughout and no answer to emails. Will never use again.

On your website, you have a white globe bulb fitted to the pendant. Turns out lighting direct don't sell it. Can't find one anywhere that fits. Only normal small bulbs fit which look crap

I have bought ~ Astro Milo Twin wall light. from Lighting Direct. They have advertised as Twin wall light but they only sent one. I have contacted them this is what the reply I have got "This item is a twin light as it in it lights up and downwards so only one was sent which is correct." I have contacted them for return label. No luck yet.

Three delays to the order since placing it on May 1st, the last promised day of delivery came and went with no email stating there would be a further delay. As it was likely that the order would arrive the following week when nobody would be at the delivery address I phoned Lighting Direct, discovered the order was due the following week and I arranged for it to be delivered on June 11th, when I would be back in the UK. Despite their agreement to do this I received a text while in Greece on 29th May saying the order had been delivered and signed for by me.! That was impossible and when I got home I discovered it placed in a recycle bin down the side of my house. Therefore my assessment of their service, communications and ability to fulfil their promise to deliver post June 11th is worse than bad.

Seevice ok quick enough. Light wasn't as good as the picture. It's much smaller a bit disappointed - too much husle to return back I kept it

I am sorry you are disappointed with your purchase .  The dimensions for all products are listed  on the web page to allow our customers make the best possible choice.  Perhaps you overlooked these. The product itself was of bad quality and looked like it had already been opened, arrived in a tacky box. I have requested a return and have to pay for the return, which is not something I am used to as if you buy from the likes of Amazon, it's a free return like with most companies. So now I will be out of pocket for ordering this item. Hence not happy with the products or service. Only plus was it arrived on the day that was stated.

Items were ordered and never delivered, the customer services were terrible, promising to call me back and or advising the order had been shipped. Finally having enough of the run around after 3 weeks I asked for a refund, which I was told had been done, still waiting 5 weeks later...!

I have given a one star rating so far as one light does not work of the four I bought and the main cover has marks on the lower half that are not on the other lights, no bulds included, fuse works, need a replacement and will be in touch

Unfortunately although the order was dispatched in a timely manner it was lost in transit with Hermes. Hence we made the refund to you. The Customer Care Team
