Light arrived ok but angry that I bought from lighting direct as price is £5 more than from Lyco. I then noticed that order confirmation email was from Lyco-- and that both are same operation with different pricing! Glad I found out as order was only as a sample for much larger order.

The pricing that is shown on Lyco is excluding the VAT as we use this site for many of our business customers however, the pricing shown on Lighting Direct is including the VAT as we use this site for more consumers. As you purchased this product with Lighting Direct, you also received a free lamp and a lower carriage charge. I ordered 2 solar lights on poles but when they arrived , the lights were the same but the poles were different colours and materials. I emailed to say this but have had no reply.

I am sorry you were disappointed when your order arrived.  This was due to an error which originated at the manufacturers whereboth versions of this fitting were supplied in identical packaging.  Your email was received by us on Monday 25th July, the circumstances investigated, and a replacement sent out to reach you today Wednesday 27th.  On sending your communication to us you should have received an email advising it can take us up to two days to respond with a resolution.  We pride ourselves on our customer service excellence and I am sorry that you appear to think our response to your problem was less than satisfactory. Still awaiting delivery 11 days after paying for an express service promising 2-3 days. Delays happen but I am still awaiting confirmation of delivery date despite daily emails and phone calls.

I was very eager to receive my product as I had refurbished my kitchen and bathroom. The company was using a courier APS who would only deliver to my address during morning hours. Twice I had Electrcians waiting on this product at costs to myself. One of the Managers did call the courier to try and arrange redelivery but without success. The seemed uninterested to help and the whole experience was a shambles.

Unfortunately we did try and explain several times to your husband that our carrier was unable to commit to delivering only between 12 midday and 18:00. We do not offer a service where customers can choose their own delivery slot however we did liaise with APC on more than one occasion about the possibility of them altering their route. Unfortunately logistics dictated otherwise as it would have meant other deliveries being delayed. When that option was not available I emailed your husband directly regarding potentially delivering to an alternative address, his workplace perhaps, where there would be someone available without time constraints to receive the delivery. This option, in addition to leaving the goods in a safe place or delivering to a neighbour was not acceptable to you apparently.I understand you also contacted the carriers directly as they provided us with feedback of your calls and thus elected to send the goods back to us to be refunded to you.Our team work very hard to provide Customer Service excellence as we did in this instance and therefore cannot concur with your feedback. Unfortunately you did not provide enough information with regard to the delivery address and we await your response to our request for this information.  Our carriers FedEx must obtain a signature unless other arrangements have been put in place.  They cannot leave consignments in communal areas of blocks of flats and cannot deliver to the specific flat without the relevant information.  We very much look forward to hearing from you at which time we will request FedEx deliver your order without delay.  Customer service excellence is an integral part of our business and it is disappointing we were not given the opportunity to resolve this matter for you before now.  Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and we trust you will shop with us again soon.  Kind Regards,

Hold additional stock. Have 2m, 3m, 4m, lengths of 12v outdoor lighting cable available. This would enable buyers to measure the distance between their light spacings and purchase accordingly.

I purchased 3 pendants during a new build kitchen extension. I stored them safely until today when the electrician came to fit them. Upon opening the box one had a piece broken off and the company refused to replace it as I had not checked the goods within 3 days of delivery. I trusted that the lights were well packed and would arrive intact. I sent a photo showing the light had not been removed from the box, to no avail. I have never experienced such bad customer service and will never use this company again.

I am sorry you seem disappointed with us.  Having investigated I note FedEx attempted to deliver twice on 10th Nov at 13:35 and 16:36 respectively and left cards with the depot contact details as there was no one in, and no instructions to leave elsewhere.   When they did not receive any contact from you the goods were sent back to us here at Lighting-Direct on the 17th Nov as is the process. The number you called is a landline and can be busy at times however there is a facility to leave a voice mail with messages being checked on a regular basis.  Customers can also get in touch via web message and email if that is more convenient. I understand you have been in touch today and pleased to note your order has been re-dispatched.  I hope you are delighted with your purchases.  We look forward to you shopping with us again very soon.  Kind Regards,

lights arrived late having already advised they would be late once. Consequential costas for me due to wasted trip by electrician. Cannot get a reply from customer service.

The online representation of the light was inadequate as it did not show the large plug with the fitment making it impossible to fit behind a painting. Waste of time and cost me return postage

I felt the items were not as described and requested a full refund. I was told it was my fault for making the wrong choice, as apparently I should have realised that Very Warm White is the same as Antique Bronze, ie orange. The email was quite curt and bordering on rude

The delivery hasnt arrived. The driver said he couldnt find us......we get deliveries evey day! Now it should have been sent to a local drop off point but still not arrived
