“I purchased two Eterna under cupboard to replace existing. Although the supplied items were the correct part nos. the connection were different. I requested a link cable to fit the new items but was told that Lightning Direct do not supply that item. I’m now ringing round to locate the cable. Not happy”

I apologise but the link cable is not in our range. These under cabinet lights can be linked together if you remove the cap from one end which we did explain at the time. The Customer Care Team

“Well , I really liked their product. But I was very disappointed by the lack of clarity on Tax Duty which hit me (I was ordering from Ireland) hard against the total price and about which there was no mention on the check out page.”

Thank you for getting in touch. I completely understand your disappointment however Import Duty being payable is completely out of our hands I’m afraid. This charge is payable on items imported from the UK to the Republic of Ireland. The amount is set and collected by the Irish Government/EU as the UK is no longer a member of the European Union. “Wrong items delivered, delivery process poor. Received the wrong items. Delivery of £20 of tubes was delayed as signature needed. For low value items where there is good security parcel could have been left out of sight and card noting location.”

I am sorry you were disappointed. Delivery instruction can be provided at the time of the order which we are happy to pass to the carriers. Unfortunately some carriers will not just leave parcels without permission. Thank you for getting in touch. The Customer Care Team

Thanks for getting in touch. A little bit confused here. You latest order was placed on the Saturday 15th May and as we state on our website we do not have a Sunday service hence your order was delivered on Monday 17th which is on time as our Express Service is a one to two day service. Your previous order was dispatched on 13th May, once the items arrived in stock as had been notified to you, and delivered on the 14th. From our website - "Express Delivery (1-2 days exc. “I haven't received the item that I ordered 13 days ago as yet. One of the items is not in stock until August so I asked for it to be cancelled. I received no reply. I asked for an order update. Again no reply. Then I received an email from Hermes saying that the parcel was due to be received by them. Finally I received an invoice yesterday charging me for the item I asked to be cancelled. Not impressed so far and I haven't even received the item yet!”
