I was expecting next-day delivery, but only received the bulb the next day (!). The lantern came 2 days after ordering.

The products and value for money were spot on 5 stars. Sadly let down by the delivery company they used, HERMES. Quite the worst courier company on the planet. They make everything worse by hiding behind an impenetrable wall to make it impossible to resolve any problems. I will buy products from Lighting-Direct again but definitely not if they use HERMES again.

Not sure about the product yet as to early but paid £15 for Saturday delivery on a Friday recieved the following Friday !! Forgot all about otherwise would have asked for refund

It was OK, but we weren't told that lamp would come in to separate deliveries on the same day 45 minutes apart. Apart from that happy.

The service was very good - but one of the lamps that we ordered ,were damaged on arrival . Part of the metal scroll was snapped off , and as the missing piece wasn't in the packaging or box , it must have been sent like it ! But after contacting customer services on the Monday , they agreed to send another one free of charge the next day , so my three ??s are now 5??s

The light that was delivered wasn't the same as on the website picture. When returned refund didn't come through and had to phone again to get refund to happen!

I ordered a Neon Heart on 6th April. The box contained only the heart light bulb and no base or instructions asked to refer to you on the back of the box. Called customer services on 7th April and was promised a return call - never received. Company closed at weekends and I send several emails over the next few days. Eventually got a reply that the 2 parts are in 2 separate boxes and in error the base was not shipped - no apology. Eventually received the base on 10th April (still without requested instructton sheet). In the brochure the base it is black. In reality it is actually pale nondescript grey. The light looks good but not impressed with the way this was handled and will not be buying anything again from Lighting Direct.

My general impression is that this is a good and responsible seller. However, with this order I had issues with being sent a broken product 4 times. Given that they were responsive and were quick to resend the order, and gave me a refund after the 4th failed delivery, I would say they are not bad, but since I did not get a product that I could use I will not give them 5 stars this time round. I think in this case the issue was with the product and not the seller though.

I paid for next working day delivery. Two light bulbs arrived...after a couple of phone calls, and some hoo has,I finally got the light fittings the following day. Not overly impressed.

I ordered an outdoor lamp and lightbulb in the same purchase and they were delivered in separate boxes by the same courier. It seemed like a significant waste of packaging to do this and not send them together. The box the lightbulb arrived in was big enough for 20 bulbs!

The product came with missing screws for top cap an issue mentioned in another review. It is very poor other products not checked for this issue following the review resulting a another dissatisfied customer.

Products seemed good but a little dissapointed that I paid for next day delivery and products came over three days. (some not in stock apparentley). I good will gesture to refund the next day delivery charge would have been nice but no.
