I purchased two Eterna under cupboard to replace existing. Although the supplied items were the correct part nos. the connection were different. I requested a link cable to fit the new items but was told that Lightning Direct do not supply that item. I’m now ringing round to locate the cable. Not happy

I apologise but the link cable is not in our range. These under cabinet lights can be linked together if you remove the cap from one end which we did explain at the time. The Customer Care Team

You purchased a beautiful touch table lamp from a manufacturer excelling in quality. I would have to express surprise at your feedback at £29.50 being very expensive. The product could have been returned if not to your liking once it arrived. The Customer Care Team

good price, lightening fast next day delivery, my only issue was that although there were very general wiring instructions there was nothing related to the operation inparticular the PIR distance & time on settings which according to the website & other reviews is supposed to be adjustable

I am pleased with what I have been sent my only complaint is that one of the light fittings was out of stock and when i ordered it it didn’t say they were. Which was disappointing. I have sent a message to ask when they will be in but I have only received a general electronic response so far, if you can help on this please respond. Pauline miller

I ordered 4 light bulbs; 3 were as ordered but one was incorrectly boxed: it was a screw fitting in a bayonet box... so 75% success only.

Beautiful high quality lights however the delivery by Hermes was very poor. If I had known that they used Hermes I would have considered another supplier.

the delivery of the goods has been very poor. i was not notified when delivery was to take place so was at work. next day did not hear delivery although in room at side if front door and they did not rung the bell. contacted delivery firm on 23/12/20 but phone cuts off sent e-mail and had no response. so as yet di not have my order. i have sent another email asking to deliver on 29/12/20. hope you cannsirt this as do nit want lights being returned to you. thanks

My order took a month to arrive. I had one email on the 20th November informing me of a delay and that my order would arrive on the 2nd December. However, after 2 unanswered emails, my 3rd was finally answered and my order arrived on the 20th December! Communication was definitely poor and for a long time I didn’t think I would ever receive my order!

The product was good, but the customer service is not accessible enough. Instead of just posting me a missing plug, I had to wait a week and receive a whole new product and then go through a returns procedure and exchange too many emails. It shows that the company has little regards for the environment, and the lack of a phone number for customers combined with web forms which are not suitable for UK addresses makes me question where their focus is.

Our focus is 100% on our customer service. Working remotely and other challenges related to covid left us at times temporarily without a full team and resulted in our responses being a little slower than usual. We do not stock component parts of our products hence a replacement set of string lights was sent to you. We are based in Buckinghamshire, UK, so not sure what you mean regarding having "forms" not suitable for UK addresses. The Customer Care Team

The ordering process was simple. Initial communication thereafter was excellent - I was advised the items were out of stock but expected 17 November and with me approx 20 November. Downhill after that - the deadlines mentioned came and went - I emailed and phoned asking for an update - no response but eventually an email arrived advising despatch. As yet the items are still packaged awaiting our electrician fitting them - accordingly I cannot comment on quality but they look good.

Products look great, but they should consider changing couriers (APC). We ordered 4 packages, only 3 arrived. They cut you off when you call them, and do not respond to emails. Guess we just have to hope it turns up! Order I1336142 if anyone's reading this that can advise.

The dimensions advertised are inaccurate and or misleading. The post base is approx 125mm diameter but the post width is only 76mm approx.

This is a very stylish and attractive fitting but I am very concerned with the cost of renewing the three AA batteries. After only two evenings, about 8 hours, the light is very poor and it looks as if I will have to replace the batteries every three days or limit the amount of time we can use the light which defeats the object of having it. We feel we should have been warned of this problem and I am considering returning it. Peter Bridgeman

I am sorry you are disappointed with your purchase. I note batteries were not included with your order so I trust good quality batters such as Duracell are being used which will should make a difference. That said a battery will always have a finite amount of charge and thus battery operated products will need replenishing periodically. The Customer Care Team

I’ve ordered from you a few times but my recent order still hasn’t arrived 2 weeks after ordering and I have had to chase to see where it is . Once I had emailed you were quick to respond though. Sadly it still hasn’t come !
