Lights look great and were delivered safely and quickly but can't comment on their function yet as not installed in our new home yet. However, I was very annoyed at having to pay for delivery to the Highlands of Scotland when the t&c states that delivery is free. I am pretty sure that Parcel Force who delivered them don't charge extra for delivering to the mainland just a wee bit north of Inverness. This is the first time I have been charged extra for delivery because of my address.

They used Hermes as a courier - regularly unreliable in my personal experience.

Delivery was timely but one item has been received badly damaged, beyond repair more care and more protection would have helped

Unfortunately one of the 5 lights ordered arrived damaged, packaging could have been better and may have prevented this. Quality of product not great as the fixing holes in the base plate are not in line which makes fixing the up and down light very arkward and time taking.

The product itself is very good, looks nice and good quality. I was dissapointed with the delivery. I opted to reschedule but it still got it delivered on the original day stated in my email.

Delivery first rate. The online site was easy to navigate. Charged twice for delivery as I ordered lamps separately.. Orders placed 3 mins apart. Asked for discretionary refund..denied. NOT good Customer Relations.

There is a problem with the base of the unit, suspect, the base was changed to replace another faulty unit. Still awaiting collection by DPD

I am waiting for a dispute to be resolved so my review is negative due to the inconvenience and loss of money this item caused me. However the other items I received seem to be as described and normal quality. I returned a reading lamp that was in their clearance sale that was damaged when I received it but the returns department at Lighting - direct are implying that I damaged it and refused to accept the return by a refund. It was a reading lamp that was made in China and had a two pin plug rather than a UK plug. That aside, the lamp was atrociously packaged in a rough box that had been bumped about and was held together with white tape that oozed glue. The polystyrene inside the box was cellotapetd up but already broken; it held the base of the lamp, but the shade was just packed loose in the box and it was dented. The whole lamp appeared not to be of reasonable quality, the shade thin and cardboard-like. I did not like it and it was damaged. I phoned Lighting -direct immediately and was emailed instructions of how to return it. I did not like the returns service using DPD. Nothing wrong with DPD but the website was unclear about the pick up point and with numerous instructions and it did not confirm immediately that the booking had been accepted - it said it emailed a return sticker but did not attach to the first email. The attachment arrived later and as I tried again, it ended up booking the return 3 times and deducting £15 from my bank just to return a poorly packed, shoddy £50 sale lamp. Personally I don't think I will deal with this company again, because I cannot be sure of the quality of the goods they are selling nor of their ability to give customer service. I have yet to see if they will believe me and actually change their mind about not refunding me. So far this mistake has cost me £65. It has cost them a customer.

Package had been opened before and was missing product info and contained two sets of fastening giving concern it had been sold previously & returned. The light was very low quality & appeared to be half the value paid The light had to be fitted because it was needed urgently to aid elderly person otherwise would've been returned

After payment taken informed some goods out of stock. Sought clarification by phone and e mail of what these were so order could me amended but no response received. Order received in full some days later. Feedback would have been helpful while waiting

I dont have my lights as yet, however this is my error as address was incorrect. Have however advised twice of this and parcel still with FedEx somewhere!

Good product at a reasonable price and good delivery. Let down by very short range remote control which will not transmit through windows requiring you to go outside to switch the light
