one of the ceiling lights had penetrated the box it was in. all the plastic air bags were on the top and had not stayed evenly above and below the box that the light was in. The white metal of the light was distorted about 4mm on one corner. the electrician was able to straighten this defect. I suggest that the plastic bags are tied around the cardboard box with the lamps to prevent all the air bags going to one side of the box. Luckily this was able to be remedied. I have saved the box showing where the fitting pierced the end. Would you like me to send it to you.? Had this not be remediable I would have had to pay the electrician for a wasted journey SO I THINK THIS IS QUITE IMPORTANT

Although lamp price quoted inc VAT and free standard delivery to most areas, VAT and delivery charge of £5.99 were added at the checkout. Not impressed. Also, why sell an undimmable bulb with a dimmer lamp? Had to re order bulb from Amazon. Otherwise, packaging and delivery were good.

Had a problem with the delivery ,left @ wrong place. Had a lot of problems getting it resolved. It was difficult to speak to someone and I left message and emails and had no response,had to follow it up several times to get it sorted. Finally my praise for a lady called Kathryn who was marvellous and sorted it all out.

Goods arrived well packed and on time. But lights are poor quality and likely to break very easily if knocked or when changing bulbs.

The average rating deprnds on when, and if, I receive a refund. I purchased what I thought were Daylight bulbs, but when I tried them, they were not anything like as bright as the bulbs I was seeking to replace. A closer inspection of the on-line ad showed them being described as 'daylight colour'. When I queried this, I was told that they hadn't been mis-described and that I could return them, in their original packing-but would have to pay for carriage-since my return was "due to a change of mind"!!! (Not, please note, because they did not fulfil the function for which they were purchased). I am now awaiting my refund (minus carriage)!! Not the way to attract repeat business Lyco!

Good product but later found very similar product at half the price in Screwfix. Arrived well packaged in reasonable time.

the shaver light turned up absolutely fine, the light bulbs ordered at the time I am still waiting for. I think its the transport but no feed back. No reply from lighting direct dispite sending them an E mail

Exterior wall lights were not the colour shown in the photo....dark grey instead of black.

Items were dispatched very quickly but after that it was awful. I paid for a before 12 service. At 11.56 I got a text from the carrier DPD saying they had tried to deliver which they had not. I then left 2 telephone messages and sent an email to Lighting Directs Customer "Service" dept none of which have been responded to. Then about 4pm the package arrived via a different DPD driver. I have not been refunded the before 12 surcharge I paid

Although it took a complaint about the delivery date changing, the two fittings did arrive as per the original date given. Whilst installing them early on Sunday morning one of the fittings had both the GU10 lamps smashed inside the light, this meant that as well as messing around to get the broken ones out I then had to wait for a shop to open and then purchase two more lamps at my cost as a price was already agreed with the client.
