The product arrived incomplete, which was unfortunate as it was for an opening of a new restaurant. I have emailed both the sales and customer email and no response. I have also been unable to speak with anyone apart from the telephone director when I have called the company.

They need to be more transparent . I purchased a product because it said delivery 10 days, it took over 23 days. They only returned my delivery fee nothing else. Will not buy from them again. Zero starts if I could

I am very sorry the light shades for your fitting arrived damaged.  By their nature our products are fragile and as hard as we try periodically damage does occur in transit. We dealt with this immediately you got in touch when we made you aware was that unfortunately we did not have any left in stock but would get replacement shades to you just as soon as possible. From our conversation I understood this to be acceptable to you. I apologise for the inconvenience caused.  We endeavour to act on customers queries as speedily as possible and I believe we have done so in your case.   I am pleased to confirm your replacement shades will be with you early next week as promised.  Thank you for taking the time to comment. I had been told my porch light would arrive on Friday 13 Jan. so decided to return home on Thurs 12th. However on the Wednesday morning I found a message to say it would arrive that day! Luckily my neighbour agreed that somebody would take parcel in and I stayed with my son until the Saturday. When the man called to fit light it turned out to be two separate spot lights. I am 84 years of age and have had no trouble with purchases until now - what should I do?

We are still awaiting delivery, after havibg been told by Hermes that it would arrive 2 days ago, and having waited in for it. No explanation or apology has been received.

Bought 27 Envirolight LED bulbs. All filament type. In one year, 11 have failed. While lighting direct have been very good at issuing replacements, they have all been the same brand. Avoid Envirolight at all cost. Unless you want 30% to fail in a year!

Website told me twice that my order had been cancelled so I ordered elsewhere. The following day, the cancelled orders were dispatched, I was charged twice and I was told I would have to wait at least a couple of weeks to get my money back.

I ordered the light on the 10th of Feb, it?s now the 23rd with no delivery. I have contacted them and left messages and called many times and nobody answers the phone, it?s just automated, very disappointed.

I ordered lights in November 2018. I did not receive it until 2 months later at the end of January 2019. The company?s customer service levels were nil, and they advertised the light would be delivered ?within 3 days of the order? however they kept changing the delivery date and at one point they advised ?we can?t give you a date of delivery?. Finally when the lights arrived they had no bulbs. I was made to order the bulbs and pay another delivery charge. I thought there would have been some goodwill due to the fact I was messed about for two months on an order. Never received an apology, minimal communication and bad attitudes. Horrendous experience, probably the worst transaction I have ever experienced.

I bought a mother and child uplighter about 10 years had good service from it until the electrics failed a few weeks ago. As my wife has poor eyesight I needed to find another urgently to help her with her reading etc. . I searched online for a 1-1 replacement and ordered what seemed to be one, the Dar Montana from Lighting-direct. Having already assembled the previous one I did not hesitate to attempt to assemble the Dar Montana, following the clear instructions enclosed with . Two hours later, having found the fixings did not work, I decided the the quality was unsuitable for our use and decided to return it for a refund. Today it was collected so I am hoping that Lighting-direct will honour their guarantee and await results. I will be happy to review the way they deal with it later if you wish.

They could improve by getting their website to work properly. After my initial order I tried to order again the website would not accept my password which I am 110% sure was correct on all SIX tries so I went to toolstation and bought what I required- pity really -but you did ask!!

9 days later still haven?t received the lights. I suggest you use a different courier company; APC Overnight has let you down!!!

i was given various excuses for non-delivery of lights - only when I said I would buy direct from the supplier at £12 each light cheaper and in the colour I wanted did they suddenly appear on my doorstep! Always been pleased with your service in the past, but now would not use again. Was invoiced for bulbs on 3rd January, no delivery. I rang on 16th and they were delivered next day!
