“Items don’t arrive and the courier FedEx did not leave a card and website hangs when trying to trach. Lighting Direct have not responded re my complaint and request for refund (over £100!) and no tel no to call - very poor service”

“Parcel supposedly delivered… but it hasn’t. And tracking showing nothing useful. I’ve emailed Lighting Direct twice to ask for help but as yet I’ve had no reply. Not impressed”

“Have purchased from lighting direct on several occasions & have been very happy with the service. Unfortunately the kitten lamp I ordered (it said it was in stock) in November did not arrive within the 3-5 day window promised. I phoned after approx 2 weeks to see why & was told the item was out of stock & would not be delivered until late January! This was disappointing as it was a Christmas gift for my daughter. The call handler was apologetic & I was given the option to have a refund, but I decided to wait for the item to be delivered in January. It arrived slightly earlier than quoted & my daughter is delighted with it! So all is good that ends well.”

“Not only was I very pleased with the item I ordered but delivery was excellent - next day delivery with no extra charge. Item packed securely for transit and 'fragile' clearly visible on the box. I have added Lighting Direct to my 'contacts to keep' fir future online ordering.”

“Ordered 2 picture lights, with the recommended bulbs. 1 of the lights was damaged upon arrival, and the bulbs don't fit the picture lights, so I have had to order them elsewhere. I have emailed LD for exchange on the damaged light and heard nothing back...”

“The shipping costs were really high in my opinion. The lights however were nice, although a lot smaller than I had thought. I would have returned but return delivery also £6.99 min so there wasn't much point. I would think twice before ordering in future.”

“Excellent product and extremely fast (free) delivery (well, nothing's free, but there's no extra cost on top of the headline price). Good customer service when I phoned to check stock levels; I do appreciate companies that actual pick up the phone !”
