“I love Laughing Hens — it’s so hard to find somewhere that ships Rico Creative cotton yarn to Canada without insane shipping cost. My orders are always correct and they email me if they have only two different dyelots that would complete the quantity in an order of one color (if you know what I mean). I use this yarn with 4.5 mm crochet hook and its perfect!”

“The purchase has been very satisfactory but I don't seem to have the complete details for the item that I have been making. Squares four and five are not there. Will that be easier for me when I get to that stage and not require a detailed pattern?”

“Quality of order was good and speed of service. The low mark is because as the prices were in euro, I presumed I was buying from European stock regardless of the company being in England. At checkout there was no reference to the possible custom charges that a European country might face buying from a UK site. The Euro price gave a false impression. I wasn’t impressed to find out that my order was subject to a considerable customs charge. I am no longer sure that I will buy from here again because of that - the customs charge made the wool ridiculously expensive.”

“I'm a new customer to Laughing Hens but so far the service has been great and they have an interesting range of yarns. I went for one from a women's collective in Uruguay and it arrived promptly and well packaged.”

“Paid for 3 balls if yarn from the main site, they were the last 3 in stock so then got an extra 2 from eBay to make up what I need for project, which I received. It wasn't clear that eBay listing was from the same shop. Therefore, I've received 2 emails from Laughing Hens saying they are out of stock. Paid my cash, no item, no refund. Not good. If I'd known the eBay shop was the same outlet I wouldn't have bought the yarn”

Hi Nicola, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, we really do appreciate it! We are sorry to read of your dissapointment with our service. Our eBay shop has the same name as out website and we trade under "Laughing Hens Shop" on eBay. We apologise if eBay don't display our shop name clearly when you purchase through their platform. Unfortunately, that is out of our control. Your orders were placed 5 minutes apart on two different platforms. We only had 3 balls in stock at the time that you placed your orders totalling 5 balls. Unfortunately, the stock did not update quick enough to reflect this. We fulfilled the eBay order for 2 balls and the website order is on hold awaiting delivery from our supplier. We notified you of this via email as soon as your website order reached the warehouse for packing. A member of our customer service team will contact you today via phone to resolve this for you. “The yarn and pattern are lovely. The drops Paris I have knitted up and for the price it looks good I am really pleased with it. The cool wool I think is gorgeous but I haven't knitted with it yet”
