“I received good service from Laughing Hens - I downloaded a free pattern and the recommended wool arrived a few days later. The hardest part was choosing which colourway! The pattern was easy to follow and I bought two balls so I could match the two fronts and the sleeves, which was not difficult to do, but worth the effort. Cardigan is not quite finished but I'm pleased with the result so far and I've enjoyed watching the colour pattern emerge as the garment grows .... always good to have an element of surprise!”

“The book I ordered arrived very quickly which was good. Unfortunately the project I wanted to do with a particular Noro yarn is not easily available in this country. Why do they show the patterns in particular colours and then the yarn is not available here. It is a bad fault with Noro books this has been happening for years now. Having worked in a Wool Shop for thirty years I have come across this so many times with disappointed customers. I am still awaiting the yarn I want to use from the States.”

“Still at the start of this project- a jumper for my husband. Looking at the pattern I was a bit phased by the difference in rows for the cable and zigzag patterns but now I am almost at the place where the marker goes for the armhole I realise it has a pleasing symmetry to it. I am an experienced knitter and I’m finding it quite relaxing to knit this. Looking forward to doing the sleeves top down. A first for me on what is a top up jumper.”

“The yarn was just thrown into a postage bag with no thought what so ever. If the bag had of been ripped during transit the yarn would have been ruined.”
