“Alpacasilk silk yarn by Drops is super soft and non itchy. I can't use mohair yarn so this is a good alternative. I'm using it held double and it knits up quickly. The cost is very reasonable. It does shed quite a bit but hopefully once it's been washed this will calm down! I like to order from Laughing Hens as all the packaging is paper and the despatch to arrival time is speedy.”

“The yarn is great and dispatch time, but the constant daily stream of emails trying to sell me things which I specifically didn't sign up for and which I've unsubscribed from several times to no avail means once my email is finally removed I'm not using them again. I don't have this issue with the other big online yarn stores. I dislike people that disrespect people's privacy choices. It's not a bug; it happened a few years ago but I thought I'd try again, they'd have fixed it but no... it feels purposful.”

“I was delighted with the choice of patterns at Laughing Hens. What I wanted in the first instance was to choose my projects and then "get tooled up" for the work itself. Like everything else in life, craft projects benefit from careful planning, so checking out the patterns was the right way to start. Choosing patterns and ordering online was a doddle and the packet came very quickly and in excellent order.”
