if you are in germany, the website https://www.laughinghens.de/ will open, this gives the appearance of a german shop. only hidden is the reference to the UK location. and only if you look for it. I had to pay almost €70 in customs duties for my order of 800g of wool! I find it fraudulent to suggest to german customers that they would order from a german shop! The wool is great, but I can't return what I ordered too much and my cardigan cost €300.

I was not made aware that as a customer from Ireland that I had to pay custom charges. I will not be ordering from this company again. My experience has made me very wary of ordering from any British company again. Brexit beware!!!!

We prepay taxes on all our international orders and they are declared with an IOSS number. I apologies you have been charged taxes in error. I will contact you to reimburse taxes.

Hallo Hens,die Wolle ist sehr gut. Aber unfair ist: auf der Internetseite ist nicht ersichtlich, dass die Wolle aus Großbritannien verschickt wird. Ich musste daher noch 12.--€ Zollgebühren bezahlen.

Really disappointed. Order never arrived. I have written twice and been told it's the fault of Royal Mail. I have paid for an order and received nothing

I ordered the last 4 balls of a particular colour,at this point there was no mention of different colour lots. I was offered alternatives accept the different lots or wait for a new order. There was no talk about a discount for the mismatching balls of wool so I just let it slide and waited for the next delivery of that particular colour. The promised 15 days was a lot longer and as I live in Italy it was an interminable wait and well not really a good experience. Sorry.

I have been a customer for many years now and I know that your products are so good! That is why after a long while, I reordered. Unfortunately, my order took over six weeks to get to me and on top, I had to pay CUSTOMS! Brexit... I am sorry but if Laughing hens do not find a way to absorb this cost (50% of my order) like for example Amazon UK, then I cannot reorder again.

You should not have had to pay for any customs on your order - we include our customs code (IOSS number) with the shipment so it should not delay shipping and you should not receive any charges. Awful customer service. Wool was ordered on 20th September and finally arrived on 22nd October after emailing and phoning your order line numerous times. 2 balls of wool were not sent out as out of stock but was told they would be sent out when back in stock. I’ve checked your website and they are in stock but you haven’t sent them out……

Product did not arrive. They sent me an email inviting me to send a review. And when I tried to log in to enquire where my package might be my email address is “not recognised “. How strange - they can send me an email but don’t recognise my email address??!!
