“Ordered 4 off Bright Source 9w/14w/18w LED Polo Fitting CCT - Motion Sensor SKU 01-IT0014117. Intended use - replace pendant lights in the basement which has low ceilings Ordering was easy and delivery was quick. All units were well packed and arrived undamaged. Installation was simple BUT, and this is a suggested product improvement. The product is intended for use in hallways and stairs, In my case the two stairs lamps are switched via 3 switches so as you can imagine the ceiling rose is full of wires. The product has a simple no tool click to connect fitting which is capable os taking two live, two neutral and 2 earth (not needed). No way I could connect all the wires in the ceiling rose. My solution was to cut a circular hole in the base of the unit and fit over the ceiling rose (remove the cover as not needed) now the pendant tail can be used to connect to the product. So here is the suggested improvement - in the plastic moulding make a snap out area the size of a ceiling rose so people can install without having a major rewire”
