“I really like my two kitchen bar stools from Lakeland furniture, and especially pleased I swallowed hard and settled for Cuban Red. What a great, uplifting colour for a dull morning! And not to forget, everything arrived complete, on time, (only 2 days wait) and were assembled within a half hour. I will definitely be buying again.”

“I recently bought a simple charcoal grey office chair. It was in the sale and exactly what I needed - no arms, swivel, wheels. The delivery was swift and all items included in the box to put it together without difficulty, plus a complete spare set of bolts. (Possibly there could be a warning about the lubricant on the hydraulics to avoid getting messy hands as it is not visible) The chair is solid and looks good. The broad seat and back make it comfortable even after several hours. It easily fits under the table/desk when not needed and the base with wheels doesn't stick out as a trip hazard - very helpful. You can completely lean back without feeling unstable. Everything works as it should - swivel, height adjustment with a wide range. The welding on the base isn't very tidy, and there is a chrome cover to hide that away and keep things looking smart. It would have been nice to have a non-grey colour option, but that's a minor consideration. So pleased was I with the first chair that I bought a second identical one for my home workstation. Interactions with Customer Care were friendly, professional, and responsive. The second chair was also delivered swiftly and in sufficient but minimal packaging (good for the environment). I would recommend this company and, from this experience with a basic product (where one might expect a lesser quality item), I am very happy with the quality, the sale price, and the responsiveness of Customer Care if there were any sporadic issue.”

“Bought 6 Portman Burnt Orange Velvet Swivel Bar Stools for a kitchen refurb. Quality is good, comfort is excellent and I like the fact that they are quite light to move around and when gassed down to their lowest setting they sit under our kitchen island. Also great value as we got 10% off as a first order from the website. Customer service is spot on, a human who works for Lakeland answers the phone and is knowledable and helpful. Our delivery contained a couple of dented base units which were replaced by the next day with no quibbles or returns needed. Very happy customer!”

“I can't write a review on the product, as it is a surprise present for my friend. They look amazing, and I love the colour, but they are still wrapped up for him to open in June. “Initially we were sent the wrong bar stools. I contacted them and a lovely lady called Helen sorted out the return of the stools we had received in error and for the stools we had ordered to be sent out next day. The stools promptly arrived next day and they are gorgeous. Really good quality and very easy to put together. Will definitely use them again.”

I contacted the Support Team and a lovely lady called Helen sorted out a collection of the wrong stools and arranged delivery of the correct ones which landed the next day. The stools are gorgeous and really easy to put together, even without instructions. I have read a lot of bad reviews but I have to say I have nothing but praise especially for the quality of the product.”
