I have been sending money through Kabayan for almost two years. Last month, I was asked to comply with proofs of address after moving to a new place. I waited 4-5 hours. I waited that long to get a response and that is after a series of text messages I sent on viber to follow up. Good customer service? After the long wait, I was allowed to send money. The next month, I made another transaction. When I asked for another transaction to be done, I was told that I lack a requirement (proof of address) and was asked again to send. Stayed on the line for half an hour. Spoken to an agent named Ian who answered back to me as if I do not have the right to be upset. “SIR HUWAG KANG ANO DIYAN HA KASI TINUTULUNGAN KITA. YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT”. As a customer who has a busy life just anybody else, I think I have the right to express my disappointment to the service I am getting. This is a fault on the end of the Kabayan agents for the poor communication. Then I was faced with an agent who does not know how to handle complaints and speaks to me as if I am at fault for complaining about the service? In the end I told him that if a client is upset he needs to understand that it is not directed to him. I did not even know his name then. This is disappointment towards the service and the agent who handled my validation the month before, so he should keep his cool and listen to the customer more so he could understand the situation without being biased! Train your agents well and improve system of communication/endorsement. This will be the last time I will be sending money through kabayan.

"my last transaction with them was not great. pick up or bank transfer they said next day time around 1pm you can withdraw money but its not true its all delay. even their pick up the one i choose where to pick the money is said no money has been deposit. dissappointe as they took money on my account straight away not transfer. slow money transaction when it comes to emergency"

Hello Odessa po! Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you experienced a service delay in the past. According to our records your last transaction was credited on time, however beneficiary had difficulty claiming it. In which case we always follow up our pay-out partner to assist your beneficiary. Because we don't have control over the funds of our cash collection partners we always advise to try different pay-out location if beneficiary has difficulty to claim elsewhere. Please also note that same day real-time cash collection is available from the following outlets - Palawan, LBC,Cebuana Lhuillier, MLhuillier. As well as instant transfers to RCBC Bank account. We are currently working on improving our delivery times with other Banks, please watch the space as service improvements are on the way! We were having holiday in the Philippines last August. I remit money from my hsbc account to my sister's bdo account. Kabayan remit cancelled my remittance sending me messages that i have not transferred money, instead of waiting for it to go through first. Hence delaying the money that my family needed during our holiday. I was extremely disappointed with your service, it goes to show that you do not care for your customer!! You are only here for business and profit!!SHAME!!

Dear Dennis, Thank you for your review. The transaction you created was only £997.99, and the payment we have received was £1,000.00. Due to this, our staff has been trying to reach you for a confirmation. Furthermore, please be informed that all of the pending transactions that are still awaiting for payment gets deleted automatically by our system after 24 hrs. Moreover, we have now created a transaction for the funds you transferred. Ref. KA0119621563 amounting to £1,000.00. It will be credited to your beneficiary's account tomorrow from 12PM.
