“I took out this years travel insurance cover for one week on line, the cost from last years cover has more than doubled, good job i got a 12% easter discount, don't know how good the cover is because i have never had the need to claim and hopefully not in the future.”

“To be honest, I thought the insurance charge was very high. I don’t know why I accepted it but I will think twice about using Just Travel again. We have never claimed on travel insurance and travel widely and often.”

“Had problems accessing payment though the internet on Sunday with this I received an email to say if you are experiencing problems to ring this number but then it was unfortunately the office is closed so rang Monday morning with my quote number and to be honest to was a very difficult conversation but I did get there in the end”

“Getting cover on the Internet wasn't straight forward, I still had to contact via telephone, as funds were taking and no documents received, but after 13 minutes on the phone it got resolved.”

“Service was fine as was price compared to other companies. Claire on the chat function was very helpful. I would have scored higher but was only able to be offered single trip insurance, not annual which is very annoying as it gets expensive over the year booking single trip insurance! I feel just travel cover and their competitors need to put pressure on the brokers to allow annual cover or provide an additional set of questions that would allow it. Currently, it feels discriminatory against people with medical conditions, which is why you have chosen a specialist medical travel insurer in the first place!”

“Was shocked to find the cost of my holiday insurance had doubled this year since last year for the same thing. I was told it is an age thing (76) does 1 year make all that difference?”

Dear Mr Kitchman, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I have looked into this for you and can see that your previous policy with us which was purchased last June was on our Unity Travel scheme underwritten by AIG. Unfortunately that scheme has an age limit of 75 at inception meaning they would not provide a quote this year as you are now 76. The scheme we have placed you with this year, Good2Go Extra, are the most competitive scheme for you at the moment on our panel. “Was very surprised at the quoted price of policy. Having had previous quotes from the company I would normally use and thought I was speaking to them to be told they no longer were in operation. As I need immediate cover for upcoming holiday I decided to go ahead. I would reconsider another company for another holiday. May I say your advisor was very nice, thorough and explained everything. Only the price let my review down.”

“Found it very hard to understand the person I spoke to kept having to ask to repeat what she was saying”

“I had to contact just travel to add on a medication and the first operator I spoke to was very rude and unhelpful because I could give the exact medical term for my medical problem. I gave up, called my Dr then had to call just travel again to speak to another operator to finally get it added to my policy. The 2nd operator was very helpful, unlike her colleague.”

“Insurance was good and comparable to most insurances but like with all insurances a system where you would need to pay out for medical or emergency costs in advance and then claim them back is generally unhelpful to the customers and in some instances customers may not be able to meet such costs.”
