A good price policy. Unfortunately, a mistake was made on medical document, I had to insist it was not my error. This was resolved satisfactorily.

Sorry to leave 3 stars. I've used yr company before...in Toward road sunderland and would rate service always a5 star. However no you've moved onto online or telephone only its not so easy...so 3 stars. Shame

Very difficult to deal with complex information over the telephone - especially for people with hearing impairment. Surely medical details could be submitted online and only followed up by phone if specifically necessary??

You can complete a quotation through our website however the website will prompt you to call us should you answer yes to any of the following medical questions: - Have you ever been diagnosed or treated for any form of anxiety, depression or psychiatric condition including eating disorders? - Have you been placed on a waiting list currently for investigations or treatment? - Have you been diagnosed by a medical practitioner as suffering from a terminal illness? This is because, as we are a broker, we have several insurers on our panel who have different terms surrounding these conditions. Kind Regards, Claire

Service provided was ok. Doubling last years price was not so. Couldn’t justify the increase so had to reduce the level of cover.

Called to renew and told that I would be put on ring back, 3 hour window. Missed the first call back so I rang back and was told I would be put back on a call back list. I would have preferred to be put on hold as a 3 hour call back time frame is not always convenient.

Problem with words. As not from the insurance world ourselves. It would have helped alot, to have had better guidance. Ie if you put down you have the flu - it stayes on for 5 years !! Reaction to meds not allergy to meds etc. It took some sorting out to get near to being happy with the cover now - not quite there yet. Mark

Dear Mr Nurse, Thank you for your review. The medical declaration, questions & answers that we are required to follow have been made by a team of doctors and nurses. Although things like the Flu may seem minor, if you have spoken to or attended your GP in relation to a medical condition or been prescribed treatment (if it is shown on your medical records and not over the counter medication that you have purchased yourself) then it is best we add this to your policy. This is because if there is a medical claim, the claims team will look over your medical records to see that you have declared everything on your records that fall within our questions. I renewed on phone.The female member of staff seemed nervous and unsure of herself.She struggled to pronounce some medical terms. I have tried to access documents from e mail today.I tried to renew password and it said e mail would be sent which expired in one hour.I have not yet received it.

Not really happy as my original quote disappeared making us pay£200 more than 1st quote ? Told was error although I have a printed copy of the original quote sent to us.

I was disappointed that after receiving regular personalised email offers, the travel insurance quotation I had received, based on a birthday discount, did not link up with my personal account, so the person I spoke to on the telephone was unable to access it and I had to accept a less generous discount. I was also a little alarmed when told that my policy was underwritten by 'aliens' - which I later understood to be Allianz!

My Quote was nicely handled, but the cost of insuring for 2 weeks Cruise is Very High One has no choice but to GET Insured before going on Holiday.

Following a call from them about renewing my existing policy I attempted to go online and review the options discussed. Having chosen an option I attempted to purchase but the website would not allow me to complete the task. I called them (on a bank holiday) and spoke to an advisor who clarified why I was calling and then transferred me to Sales. They had not understood I had a renewal quote and attempted to go through the sales process again (a 20 minute activity). When I said I wasn't prepared to repeat this I manage to clarify that I had a renewal quote and I purchased over the phone. My documents were sent online.

So far so good although all I have done is complete an online form and paid the fee. The real review would come should I have to contact Just Travel or make a claim.

The assistant I spoke to was very helpful in ensuring we got the necessary level of cover. I was offered a 7% discount but requested more as given previously. The assistant said 7% was the maximum in this case. However, when I checked my emails JustTravel had given me a code for a 10% discount.

The products on offer are OK, but the inclusion of the USA in the global cover renders it very expensive. Have you thought of having three categories (Europe; global,excluding USA; and global, including USA)? I have no plans to visit the USA, but shall be going to the Caribbean and it is costing me a great deal of money. The website wasn't that easy to navigate, and on more than one occasion I got a quote that I could not later retrieve. Happily, I was able to sort this out with a phone call.

Dear Mr Hunt, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are an insurance broker and the categories we use are based on the rates from the insurance companies we use. For an Annual policy the options we have are Europe, Worldwide including the USA, Canda & Caribbean or Worldwide excluding the USA, Canada & Caribbean. They do rate the USA, Canada & Caribbean the same on an Annual or Single Trip policy. I hope this helps but should you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact our office. The young lady on the phone, who may have been new, spoke very fast, reading lots of information out. I worked for the ABI so was used to all this information which has to be told, but I think others may have struggled, felt it needed a more friendly approach. Otherwise good
