I rang Just Travel on the number given by ROL but had difficulty getting through to an agent who could deal with my request. However, when I was told that I could purchase cover through the website I had more success and got what I wanted. It would have been more helpful if ROL had given me the website address in the first place.

Good value insurance cover, but if you are unable to complete the application online it takes a few phone calls to speak to the correct person. I did receive call backs as promised but it wasn’t convenient to take the calls. I have been assured that in the event of an adverse incident happening requiring a claim that there is a direct help line.

They are very quick at taking your money, it’s a shame they are not as quick to pay out when you have to make a claim, especially when they don’t have the correct claim forms to fill in, for a missed ports on cruise insurance.

After inserting all my details, including medical, I was given a number of quotes reading from low to high which was fine but then I was offered two discounts, one for 9% and one for 10% which I found bizarre and when I phoned to accept a quote the telephone sales rep. could not explain this so obviously I took the 10%. Otherwise I was very happy with the transaction. Only thing I had a problem with was when I had a problem retrieving my documents I decided to deal with it on live chat when half way through explaining my problem the live chat ended. I am 74years old and not a very fast typist and as such the online chat person should allow us just a bit more time to write our request, after all she must have seen that I was still writing by the the moving 3 dot icon. The other reason for using live chat was I was held 25 mins on the phone for a query which couldn’t be answered on FAQ’s.

I found it hard to speak to an advisor for a quotation. When I got a quote on line I got a different contact number. When I rang that I managed to speak to an advisor and was happy with the service they gave.

I purchased my original cover and the quote was about 360 pound but when time for me to go on my holiday it's had doubled in price and I had left it too late to go somewhere else I have been a good customer to you so I was very unhappy

Once we take your details we compare live prices from these insurers. These prices can vary depending on a number of factors including the destination you are visiting (the cost of the medical treatment in that country), your age and any pre-existing conditions you may have. As your first quotation was 3 months prior to your purchase, we could expect to see changes in those rates, especially with the ever changing circumstances in the travel industry at the moment. Opening times of 9am - 5pm not ideal for people who work full time & calling on Saturday morning & been in a queue not ideal either.

Purchased online, took the money but policy didn’t actually come through. Had to call up and spend 20 mins on hold to then sort it out.

Service fine. Rise in premium since my last trip to Canada is downright robbery since medically nothing has changed. These sort of premiums will kill off air travel!

The only problem with you is the charge to change no to a yes. It took the girl about 1 second to do it and charged me £30 for the pleasure I was not very happy about it

Very helpful once you get through! However, your chat line was useless. I gave up! I cannot access my Documents on line, I’ve changed the password, but just get a 2018 trip. So please post hard copy.
