I had a long session to try and get travel cover especially for the countries I need for a western Mediterranean cruise. The site kept freezing.

Staff were helpful but I misheard a question due to the mans accent. I couldn't differentiate the word unplanned/planned and answered incorrectly. Probably had to pay a wee bit more due to my answer.

Most travel agents want to see a hard copy of a actual insurance certificate. I have policy numbers and lots of info but no certificate to print off

according to you my non malignant melanoma has to be recorded as malignant. Why

I can see from our records that your policy was updated to screen your condition as Melanoma however due to the nature of the condition this automatically links to a Malignant Melanoma. All medical screening questions are set by an independent specialist company and agreed by all insurers on our panel. Tried online quote and at the end was met by see your quotes and a blank screen got an e mail from marketing and then someone called me and did the quote over the phone in double quick time not fully clear and did not appreciate wasting my time

Unfortunately the site did not indicate the age cut off & that there was an increased excess & lower pay outs until after I had purchased my insurance. I am sure other companies do the same but they also were unclear in some of their wording re medical cut off dates as in 5 years I had to phone to check. This needs to be addressed.

I found the system for viewing the details of the cover I had bought rather complicated. I had to start with one entry and switch to a separate entry to read the details. A bit cumbersome. I also had a problem in that you had somehow recorded my date of birth incorrectly. After many attempts at trying to enter the system I had to telephone your office to find out why I could not get entry. All a bit tedious and I have perhaps been generous in awarding you "acceptable " after my problems with your mistake in recording my date of birth.

The first person I spoke to got my email address wrong and I didn,t receive the quote. I rang again and this person said he had altered it and my email would be with me within15 mins. It did not arrive. I rang again and this lady was very efficient and she altered it on your system however then all my documents came out with wrong email. I contacted next person on-line and it wS corrected .

Although they were very helpful and friendly they did not knock the 10. O/0 discount off. I am not very pleased about that.

The only thing that I find absolutely extraordinary is when you insist that we disclose any kind of waiting for hospital appointments etc., and then when they turn out to be nothing at all you still insist that they are recorded over the last five years and thus penalize the client. It is a case of computer says No and most unfair to the purchaser. Just a way of making money for you. I think this practice ought to be rectified. Otherwise the staff are very polite.
