The online system is poor, frustrating experience trying to access policy online, setting up passwords etc. Have to make unnecessary phone calls for assistance to an expensive 0800 number. Poor! Assistance from call handlers Ok hence the rating of acceptable.

50% rise in premium since last holiday in October 2018 and still the same age now and at next holiday in July. You also offered me 10% discount(after I had purchased) and chased me up to buy a policy from you after I had purchased. Cannot really review, one never knows until you a claim and I never have.

Hi Mrs Whall, Thank you for taking time to leave us feedback. Unfortunately rates can fluctuate due to a number of reasons including the type of trip you intend to take. I can see from our policy that the destination of this holiday is rated higher than your previous destination. As an insurance broker, we will always compare multiple specialist, A Rated insurers and provide three levels of cover for each (bronze, silver and gold) to try and find you the level of cover you need at a price that is acceptable. I have applied your 10% discount and arranged a refund to your of the difference. You will be able to view the adjustment on your documents in your online account. Cannot book a family policy as my son is over 18. Other providers offer this, do you are missing out on customers

Aged 86 and having had cancer and have been on various medications,I find the process of applying for travel insurance very inquisitorial and I actually dread it when I have to apply for travel insurance.I find the questioning to be upsetting.I always thought that insurance companies have a risk possibility but it seems that no insurance company is prepared to take any risks.To be quite honest,I am seriously considering ceasing from trarelling abroad because the whole process of applying is,to me,upsetting.

OK service but disappointing that the previous years health details could not be accessed and the whole process had to be repeated during a 15-20 min premium rate phone call.

Hi Mr Bushell, Thank you for taking time to leave us feedback and choosing JTC again this year. Medical screening questions are set by an independent body and agreed by all insurers on our panel. Medical screening details remain valid on our system for up to 30 days. This is restricted due to ongoing changes that are made to the question and answer sets. We always endeavour to complete the screening as quickly and accurately as possible. We do not advertise premium rate telephone numbers. We have multiple numbers available for customers to call, all 0800 numbers are free of charge and our standard 03330 telephone number is charged at local rate. I was disappointed that Just Travel could no longer provide me with the type of policy I have had for a number of years without making any claims. This was an annual policy for Europe allowing me to stay for up to 93 days,

This observation applies to all the questionnaires on existing health issues. What is the point of asking me if I can walk 200 yards without getting out of breath without asking about the terrain? 'On the flat' is specified, but is this on the road, on soft sand, on grass or over other vegetation We are asked to declare all existing medical conditions, but when I identified Darier's disease no questions were asked. So I am left wondering if this might be a failure to provide information even if an actual claim could be quite unrelated to the condition. Fortunately I did not have to rely on the tick box approach, making the purchase by telephone,

I have been a repeat customer for 3-4 years, each time purchasing an excellent 'Unity' Annual Multi-trip Gold policy and receiving very good and helpful service over the telephone. I was surprised and disappointed this year however when I came to renew, that (a) they were no longer offering this companiy's policies and could only offer a similarly priced but inferior product or a much enhanced cover policy at considerably greater cost. Additionally, during a subsequent phone call, my straight forward questions relating to a possible future joint policy option for both myself and wife elicited little apparent interest or knowledge from the sales person. This has been my go to company, but this experience has made me inclined to downgrade them as at best on a par with other sources of insurance. Shame.

I am sure its as good and possibly better than others but as I havent yet travelled and certainly havent had to make a claim I really cannot comment at present
