Why was my cover so much more than it was 6months before, otherwise I was satisfied.

Pity my unplanned hospital stay had to cost so much extra to go see my daughter. You then sent me a text about more insurance from you. I call that bad taste. Pity you could not have been more generous especially when I have traveled with you for a number of years and have had good service up till now.

The premium reflects the risk involved including the destination of travel and length of trip. It is also noted on our records that your received a 15% loyal customer discount when the policy was purchased. This was taken into consideration on both the original premium and the additional premium following the update to your medical screening. It was renewed swiftly, but as ever had gone up, but was required. Asked for 10% discount by quoting the offer code, unsure if that what deducted as not quoted on paperwork

Initial price was good but price was increased when had to change cruise destinations.

Not happy with your rep thought she was quite rude sold me a policy then rang to say I will not be covered for cancellation as I need jab have had these jabs before no problem at all

It was only after my sharp intake of breath that the adviser informed me that there was cheaper cover available than gold, namely silver or bronze. But ultimately I was happy and took out the cover offered.

Rates do vary between the insurance companies that are on our panel and can go up as well as down due to a number of factors including the amount of claims made over a particular time frame. An increase in claims along with other factors such as the length of trip and declared medical history will regularly lead to marginal increases in rates across the travel insurance sector. Very difficult to answer some of the questions with a “yes” or “no” response when you are dealing with pre-disease or borderline medical condition. Would be useful if there was a medical expert on hand to help with answering these questions or to explain categories. Patients are not always given detailed information by their GP or hospital consultant but are expected to be an expert themselves.

Good morning, Thank you for taking time to leave us feedback. Unfortunately the medical questions are set by a third party company and are universal. For the insurers on our panel to return a premium it is vital that they have all of the information they need relating to any medical condition a client may have. This allows them to asses the risk as well as have conditions documented should they need to be referred to during a claim. Your comments have been taken on board and passed to a senior manager. Disappointed to find that the cancellation policy that I had been paying for would only cover a trip both booked and taken in the same policy year - so as I book in the summer and go skiing in the winter - in a new policy year - no trip would ever have been covered - this is obviously ridiculous when I pay for continuous yearly cover

I bought insurance for my 80 year old Mum who is in pretty good health but paranoid that she should have effective cover when travelling. After buying insurance online I called your service centre to clarify points. The young lady I spoke too was very dull and unhelpful. Some people do not fit into a tick box. Insuring elderly people isn't easy as they frequently see GPs to rule out problems that do not require treatment but are only age related but must be declared. Surely, it would make sense to employ someone who is more sympathetic to problems related to age. Certainly, had my Mum had to do this herself she would have abandoned the process and cancelled her holiday !!!

If there was a star between "poor" and "acceptable" I would have chosen it. I've had travel cover with Just Cover for several years and this is the first time I've found the renewal process quite complicated. I got quite confused on the phone whilst giving the necessary information (I felt hurried). When I accessed the online account only some of the documents were visible so I had to phone again to get a correction done and to ask where the rest of the documents were. The remainder of the documents became available online in the account several days after I'd renewed (due to some technical issues), by which time one of the original documents had been replaced because an amendment had been made (according to one of the support people on the "Live Chat" link. I must stress that the actual people I contacted to answer my queries were very helpful, but I feel that the procedure is rather confusing. I'm hopeful it will have improved before I need to go through this again.

The service was fine, but I was surprised that amongst the policy documents, I can't find one that confirms that I (name) have an insurance policy (policy number and type) that starts on (date) and ends on (date). I had to print out the emails. Other insurance policies i have bought always have some kind of policy schedule. Did i miss it?
