Dear Mr Stephenson, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm sorry you had trouble getting a distinction between Personal Accident and Emergency Medical cover. Just to clarify for you, the Emergency Medical & Repatriation expenses section is to cover the cost of any medical treatment needed during your trip or if you need to be repatriated back to the UK. The Personal Accident section of the policy is compensation if you have an accident abroad caused by someone else and it results in loss of limb, eye, personal total disablement or death. Some insurers have age limits on this particular section. This is because the compensation is usually to help you if you are left unable to work. You still get full coverage under the medical expenses section for any treatment needed should you have an accident abroad. “Good when asking for a quote, but not next day when wanting to take out the policy. This was a different person and was difficult to hear and had to be asked to speak up. Being slightly deaf and the person having a foreign accent did not help.”
