Received nothing in writing despite several requests. Not even an email giving details. Had I had a claim you might have claimed I was uninsured but you were paid.

They got my wife's name wrong twice despite clearly spelling it out by phone. They also could not work out that we were married but still chose separate surnames. The email links to our paid policies did not work properly, and even now I cannot access my account properly online so they've had to post me the stuff but it still has me under my wife's account. Bedlam!

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I’m sorry that you found the questions intrusive. Naturally it is never our intention to upset customers and we dedicate a lot of time and resource into training our staff on how to deal with sensitive issues, given many of our clients are suffering from a range of medical conditions. Unfortunately the medical questions are set by a third party company and are universal. For the insurers on our panel to return a premium it is vital that they have all of the information they need relating to any medical condition a client may have. This allows them to asses the risk as well as have conditions documented should they need to be referred to during a claim. Your comments have been taken on board and passed to a senior manager. I found that ‘James’ was very rude, condescending and arrogant. I would suggest that his personal communication skills be vastly improved. However and notwithstanding, I am very happy with my Insurance cover and these comments are merely directed at the employee concerned. Kind Regards, Mark Thomas.

I used your company last year for my holiday - this year you quoted me an amount which was double !!? Same holiday - same time - one change of medication I spoke to one of your sales people & accepted the quote - then I began to worry that I had made a mistake I looked at another company who quoted me less than half of your quote ! I rang your company & cancelled - I have gone with the other company

Dear Mrs Maynard, We're sorry to hear that you cancelled your policy. Unfortunately premiums can increase for a number of reasons; anything from the cost of the Pound against the Euro and Dollar, the country you are visiting and cost and amount of claims in the previous 12 months - plus of course the individual circumstances of each client (age, medical conditions, etc.) We have added more A-rated insurers to our panel recently in a bid to ensure we stay competitive whilst offering the best level of cover for our clients' needs. I'm sorry you had to cancel your premium this time but do consider us again for your next holiday and we will once again compare specialist insurers to help you get the cover you need. Thanks. Dale

Unable to create an account so cannot access documents. Staff were trying to help, but just kept sending a link which would not allow me to give necessary information to create a password. Eventually someone suggested posting paperwork to me. Why could that not be offered to me before I became so upset?

By having an online account you can access your documents 24/7 anywhere in the world without having the inconvenience of carrying all of your paperwork (over 50 pages). We can use your email address, we can use any email address that you like, however the email will go into your junk/spam box - nothing to do with us, this is down to BT your email provider. everything went well until after I had paid when I found it impossible to get a copy of my policy despite clicking on 'view'/'documents' in two different web browsers (chrome and safari) - there is no email address for contact - only postal and telephone. I am now stuck with no policy to make a copy of to take with me.

I booked some travel insurance on the morning of 6th April for a short break in Amsterdam .I explained the urgency and was told there was no problem and that the policy details would be sent to me by email. As yet I have not received the email and I leave home in the morning so all in all I think my comment was justified.

Have to submit ghis as anonymous as you dont make it clear whether this is a private or publuc review. I would prefer to give you constructive critiscism privately. It took me four phone calls, on average 20 minutes to try and book this as you couldnt get the price right. My initial quote was online but this is then followed by a text message with a ten percent discount but trying to have that ten percent discount allocated to your online quote by a salesperson is almost impossible. It seems to me you are employing people without giving them the necessary training to do the job. Promises to call me back went without follow up. It was only when i insisted i speak to a manager did i eventually get the ten percent discount offered. There was no apology either. Please train your staff and get your discounting sorted. Thanks

I bought 2 lots of travel insurance policy nos AUA27369/2018, and AUA27370/2018 and twice have asked for my policy to be sent by post and I have not received it.???

I am still waiting for my documents to be sent to me. I phoned again today and was told they would be emailed to me within 30 minutes. They still have not arrived. I took out the policy on 13 October 2017

The insurance would not cover a private English speaking hospital, we had to be transferred to a Spanish General hospital. The journey was long for my husband who was extremely ill. No english spoken there, he is still in hospital, thank God for E111. Will not purchase another insurance with Just Travel, a good price but just a waste of money.

Please note that Just Travel Cover is a brokerage and we do not deal with claims, this is handled directly by the insurer and medical assistance company. We sympathise with you and note that a travel insurance policy will only cover treatment in a private facility when deemed medically necessary. All of our insurers have a list of approved medical centres, clinics, hospitals and private facilities across the world which all meet their strict standards. Your husband would only be transferred to another facility if he was deemed medically fit and would never be moved if his health was at risk.
