“My first purchase and two items out of 5 broke first time I wore them!”

“I ordered some earrings, which didn't arrive by the suggested delivery date. I emailed Jon Richard to ask for an explanation and was advised that the earrings had been returned and the money had been refunded. I was then advised that the earrings are now out of stock. Very disappointed with the whole customer service experience. I have bought jewellery in the past from Jon Richards in store. Not sure if I will buy online from them again.”

“Not very happy with my latest purchase. Jewellery have gone much smaller on sizes. Don't know what happened but the Jewellery sizes has changed much smaller and more expensive now”

“Paid £10 for shipping to Ireland and then had to pay another 20% VAT!! I wasnt warned by Jon Richard.com that I would be charged customs. Most UK suppliers warn the customer of this, or else the charge does not apply”

“Very poor quality, which you can't tell from the photos on the website. Also the pair of earrings came faulty, one stone was already missing. I wouldn't buy anything else from them and of course, I returned everything. At least they had very good and responsive customer service.”

“Not as nice as it looked online,had a more silvery tone rather than gold. The emerald stones were lovely but overall a bit disappointed in the look of it, almost looked tarnished before it had even been removed from the packaging.”

“Simply Silver earrings. Not the quality they used to be. And the stems of the studs seem slightly bent. Don't seem to have the, brightness, they used to have. Glad I had a slight discount, otherwise would be even more disappointed.”

“Beautiful jewellery, but both my refunds were short, and I have contacted them twice and they haven't replied at all. No jewellery in the world can make up for ignoring your customers. Sorry!”

“I have always loved Jon RIchard jewellery. I used to buy from Debenhams, even all my wedding jewellery. This was my first time ordering direct via the Jon Richard site. I ordered three items, a mirror which was fine. A necklace to give as a gift and a bangle also as a gift. The items were in the sale but even so the necklace was in a small plastic bag and was so tangled up it was impossible to untangle without breaking it so I sent it back. The bangle was silver coloured with crystals and looked lovely on the website but what arrived would hardly have fitted a child. It was almost like a baby bracelet ... but with a clip and crystals! I sent that back as well. Pity, it was just very disappointing.”

“Recieved my necklace and earrings set to give as a gift to an elderly friend. Very disappointed, but couldn't return as I had opened the little plastic packet to remove the items. According to the advert, the set was reduced from £40 to £20. Surely no one ever paid £40 for that? The stone was minute and the elderly lady would never be able to fasten the chain as it was so fine. Didn't look so tiny in the photos. I am now not able to give it to the lady and now have to spend another £20 somewhere else.”

“I bought a hairclip but the photo was incorrect. When it arrived it was a hair comb. Immediately contacted customer service but still no reply, two weeks later. Poor service.”

“Really disappointed with the quality! I bought some jewellery for my wedding however when i came to wear the earrings the stone had fallen out of one stud and i hadn't even opened the packet and the hair clips had also snapped and hadn't even been worn, my bridesmaids jewellery from etsy was better quality!”
