“Sarita provided no nonsense advise tailored to my specific needs. She was quickly able to take over the file from her colleague. Nothing was too much trouble and she ensured she kept me informed each step with progress seen every day in the process. It was relatively stress free for me! “Our income and circumstances were not straight forward. Riza and earlier on Michael helped us through. Riza kept us well informed throughout the process and worked none stop chasing up solicitors etc. I have never really wrote reviews before but this warrants a strong recommendation for John Charcoal from Catherine and I. “This was made so easy - after several months of visiting my bank and appointments with the mortgage advisor, which led to no business, I went online to request details from a mortgage broker. Sarah emailed to say she would call me the very next day and it all went smoothly from there. We were kept up to date with emails checking that we had received documents for completion and full communication over the phone when required. We are now satisfied with a new buy to let mortgage deal that has been completed on the date we requested. We would have no hesitation in recommending John Chacoal to our friends and family. Please pass on our thanks to the professional team of Sarah Crampton-Barden, Tom Clifford and Rebecca Grisdale for making this such a smooth transition for us.”

“This is an outstanding firm. You work in a complex area and are prepared to work with the customer through their various needs to find a solution that works best for the customer. The professionalism and efficiency are again outstanding. As a customer you are kept up to date at all stages of the process. I have complete faith the the integrity of the firm because of my dealings with the employees. This is the second time I have worked with Dave Cormford as my adviser and I would reiterate that on both times I found the knowledge, customer care and professionalism to be of the highest standard. It was frustrating for us to hear about the service issues you’d faced with the lender and solicitors during your remortgage. As per our recent email conversation you said you were happy with how we fulfilled our role as mortgage broker for you but if you have anything further that needs addressing please come back to us.

“Lost 3 properties on the way to our final purchase. They were great at chasing solicitors for progress reports. Very quick to make the adjustments needed to the mortgage. Very friendly and helpful.”

“I was given a named person who worked with me throughout the process In addition he (Matt) had an assistant Hayley who was available at all times Matt and Hayley kept me informed at every step of the process They were warm, helpful but above all, knowledgeable and professional My situation was not straightforward but Matt was reassuring and in the event they achieved a successful outcome for me I am now in a position where I can enjoy my future with my finances secure without compromising the equity in my home. hats off to John Charcol”
