“I have just used John Charcol for the third time regarding house purchases and mortgages. I cannot recommend the company highly enough. On the last two occasions I have been helped by Jyotin B. He has been helpful and explained everything in an easy to understand way. “In my experience I have found John Charcol to be an organisation of Total Quality by which I mean in everything they do and say, I have found quality. I have found their communications (both oral as in over the phone and in writing) to be friendly, effective, and professional. As for me one of the biggest beauties of John Charcal has been as follows: I do not understand financial and mortgage language / terminologies. So, they would sit down and first explain to me the terms and associated implications before proceeding with any step of the entire mortgage process. Another great experience is as follows: Despite I had paid all the fee and my mortgage process with the bank/lender was just reaching the end, the interest rate dropped by some percentage. I did not have to do the chasing up with John Charcol, they came back to me themselves and revised the monthly mortgage payment to be less than earlier one, accordingly. They also say that they would come back to me every two years to ensure that I have the best value i.e. least monthly mortgage payment possible. Again, no chasing up required which is a great relief for me. Another excellent function of John Charcol is their (inbuilt) insurance service. They found me the best deal which covered all the eventualities in terms of life insurance against critical illness and terminal illness. They were so patient and kind to explain me all the implications and always addressed my queries in a friendly manner with examples. One thing more, I am an old man who’s buying mortgage towards the end of retirement age. They managed to set up mortgage for me all the way up to the age of 75. This has been nothing but amazing. That is around 10 years above and beyond the retirement age. As a great thinker said that a smile is a curve that sets everything straight. That's what John Charcol is about. They serve you with a constant smile and straighten out things for you. I find them like a friend who watches over your best interest. Mortgage/buying a house is quite a milestone in one’s life which is quite daunting and challenging, and what could be better than having a friend who walks with you all the way of this overwhelming journey.”

“A very professional service received from Shaun Boyle and Zerena Taylor in my remortgage to a different provider with much better interest rates. Shaun went above and beyond in giving me advice regarding my remortgage. He was very informative and answered all questions I raised. It was completed in a timely manner, on the date the other mortgage provider’s fixed deal ended. Zerena was really good at progressing the transaction and made sure she let me know when I needed to action something. Overall a very good service, and I would definitely use them again and recommend to others.”
