“It's difficult to think what they could have done better quite frankly. We had a complicated situation being ex-pats and being on a cruise during the critical time to apply for the mortgage. But they looked after every aspect and followed up with the mortgage company at crucial times. I would highly recommend them.”

“Excellent communication and customer service from Scott Barron. His colleague Ian was very competent. We had a fast decision, prompt documentation. No problems at all. This is the 2nd occasion we have used this company would definitely recommend them - oh and ask for Scott!!”

“Kat Toomer was brilliant throughout in overseeing the process from the start, and then at our request through to the end - positive, proactive and reliable throughout. However some members of the admin support team were at times unreliable and ineffective - thankfully Kat rescued the day each time.”

“Having tried a number of other companies I contacted John Charcol. They not only found me an appropriate mortgage which others had failed to do but the mortgage advisor Andrew and the admin staff Tom and Gemma were very efficient and a pleasure to deal with. I have already recommended a friend to John Charcol.”

“As an older person, I couldn't find a mortgage provider to give me a mortgage for longer than 10 years, even my own bank were unhelpful even though I have a significant salary going into the account and savings with them. Paula, Katy and the team found a provider very quickly and kept in touch to ensure things moved along as quickly as possible. I unreservedly recommend to anyone who needs any type of mortgage to give John Charcol a call first. They were professional, understanding and non-judgemental. Absolutely delighted with their service.”

“Penny and the team were extremely informative for us as first time buyers and going through a process that can be quite overwhelming when presented with lots of options. “This is the fourth time I and my family have used John Charcol with financing and they have been exceptional in their service. This time it was Thomas Bull from the Southampton office (recommended by Elliot Nathan from the London office) that came to my help. He worked very hard tirelessly, even out of hours to meet deadlines and achieve what we wanted. Tom always went the extra mile to provide the best service for myself and my daughter in the US and we are very happy customers......Thank you very much Tom!!!”

“We were delighted with the service. Lauren found us the best deal, collected the initial information and her colleague Emily took everything to completion. It all happened quicker than we had expected and the deal is done. John Charcol's service was professional, efficient and convenient. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a re-mortgage but doesn't want a lot of hassle.”
