“Andrew Ireland has been the best mortgage broker I have ever used. I have 10 houses on various mortgage deals so I have dealt with him on multiple occasions. He is very prompt to respond, has an excellent knowledge of the confusing range of mortgage products and is always very easy to communicate with. I recommend him unreservedly.”

“Very good customer service, Jade was very helpful with our re mortgage application and was very knowledgable and was able to answer all of our queries quickly and efficiently and found us the best possible deal for our re mortgage, I would definitely recommend Jade and John Charcol and would be more than happy to use them again.”

“We used John Charcol as our mortgage broker for a recent purchase of our new residential home. Our broker David Pudney was was extremely helpful start to finish. He was always on hand to answer any questions and very prompt with his replies. He made us feel very comfortable with the mortgage we chose and gave us some great mortgage deals we could not find ourselves. We will 100% be using David again in the future when we decide to purchase another property. Thanks again for all your help.”

“Very happy with the advice given to me by Mark B. He found a fixed term product which was exactly what we wanted at a competitive rate, especially considering the current increases in interest rates. Once our offer had been accepted, Jenny kept us fully up to date with progress and was always available to speak to over the phone if I had any queries. Would def recommend John Charcol based on my experience.”

“I was very happy with the service offered by John Charcol. Shaun Boyle kept me intermittently updated about rates during a fairly tumultuous period in UK interest rate updates. The service is not cheap but it was useful for a non resident landlord seeking a new mortgage.”

“My experience with John Charcol was largely positive, thanks to the diligent efforts of their mortgage broker, Reiss, who worked hard to find the most suitable product for me. He is quite professional and possesses a wealth of knowledge in the mortgage field. However, when my situation changed and I wanted to explore the option of a company mortgage, his busy schedule didn't allow him time to investigate such a mortgage, which was a disappointment. The sales associate, Leigha, was exceptional with her prompt responses and timely reminders, demonstrating an admirable commitment to customer service. Despite some room for improvement, the overall service provided by John Charcol was commendable, and I am grateful for the assistance of both Reiss and Leigha.”

“After having moved to the USA and whilst we enjoying a super low rate on our UK homeowner owner mortgage, the time came to switch mortgages to a non-UK resident BTL mortgage... During a tense period of seeing rates rise and existing lending only offering SVR + 3% = 8+% at the time, and slow to no response from our current bank (6-8months for remortgage) . I reached out to John Charcoal , having used them in the past and could'nt have been happier as the closed quickly and with a great deal. Mark B. worked across the timezones to advise and collectively we put a plan together to get the right and best deal in a super timely fashion.(Submitting applications 30mins before cutoff on a Friday afternoon !!) Fiona A, our assigned team leader, again worked outside of usual timezones to keep communicate and process efficient, fast flowing across the lenders, solicitors and us ! In summary, great advice, super team (thanks again Mark B & Fiona A), fast process.”

“Our adviser Andrew Ireland has been absolutely brilliant, during a very long and fairly complex process of remortgaging. We’ve used him several times now for properties and really cannot recommend him and John Charcol enough. Andrew was extremely good at explaining financial complexities, very diligent and proactive in providing regular updates and got us over the line with our remortgage, finding us a very good product in this challenging market. We wouldn’t consider using any other company!”
