Worst company ever, you order online, you have to put the details of your delivery but it never makes it to the drivers, we had 3 deliveries in total, because they made mistakes twice. All 3 deliveries were initially sent to a town 30min away. We specified a smaller delivery truck for our site, a 27ton came first, had to send back. Then panels arrived damaged and were in the middle of the pile, no way they didn't know this when putting order together. Also order was short. Overall terrible experience.

Thank you for review and feedback. We are sorry that there have been issues with your delivery, we can advise that all the information regarding access issues that you gave us was passed to our supplier who send their apologies for the error in sending the wrong vehicle in the first instance. By way of apology on this, we provided a partial discount. In regards to the damaged panel that you received, you informed us of this on the 3rd of April of this and our supplier delivered a new panel the following day, 4th of April.

Insulation4less supplied me with substandard Celotex boards. They had edges which curve inwards - are concave - meaning I have to cut them down in order to get them snug to each other. Its a lot more labour and I lose some board. I pointed this out to them and sent photographic evidence, and still have some of the boards, but they are not interested. Therefore if you want good quality boards and good customer service, go to a different company.

Thank you for your review however we must disagree with what you have said on this occasion. We delivered your order on 29th January, we have sent you the photograph taken by the driver on the day of delivery with the boards wrapped in good condition. You did not report any issue to us until almost a month later on 26th February. You then advised us that you had used some of the boards but you were not happy with the remaining boards and would like them replaced. As stated in our terms of delivery, all irregularities must be noted on delivery paperwork immediately on arrival or, via email to deliveries@insulation4less.co.uk within 24 hours.

It's not possible to give 0 stars apparently... Build4Less took my money, delayed my delivery by 9 days. Then knowingly delivered me the wrong product, 2.4m long OSB T&G 18mm loft boards instead of 1.2m and then said the depot don't have the correct product at all and never did. Cost me half a day's wages trying to resolve on a Friday afternoon. I asked for someone to call me. After ringing many times and still only receive emails. This is the following week and still no answer about my original purchase which is still for sale on their website. Really disappointed with my experience and would not purchase from Build4Less again. Really hope for everyone else's sake this is a one off, but from the way I've been treated I don't think so.

Thank you for your review, we greatly appreciate feedback. We apologies for the delay in delivery, this material generally takes approximately 5 to 7 working days to site and we acknowledge this took somewhat longer than our standard timeframe. In regards to the the incorrect size of boards being delivered, we sincerely apologies for this error, however, we can assure you that we did not knowingly do this, it was a genuine error on the part of our supplier. The collection of the incorrect boards has been arranged for today and a full refund will be issued once returned to the depot. Our Customer Service Manager has now also been in touch with you directly.

3rd order placed, order 1 & 2 were fine order 3 cannot get a delivery date, so cannot plan workforce.

Hello Graham, Thank you for your review. We're sorry delivery didn't arrive on the expected delivery date and was delayed by a day. We do state on our order confirmations that delivery dates given are not guarantees and on rare occasions delays can occur which are out of our control. As regards the damage, we emailed you within 30 minutes of you bringing this to our attention. We asked you to send us pictures so that we could rectify the issue but you did not reply to us. I paid £50 for delivery- however, the items were never delivered as the driver could not find our property-but was told the driver was at the property- but could not find it ???? and was subsequently told I would have to pay another £50 if I wanted them to attempt delivery again !! Would definitely not use again !! I cancelled my order! Minus, the non- delivery fee (£50)

Hi Julie, This review is unfair and not a true reflection of actual events. We attempted to deliver this order on the delivery date provided to you. You were notified by email and text on 26/07 that delivery would be on 31/07 and we even arranged delivery on a smaller vehicle as requested by yourself. On the day of delivery, both our customer care team and the driver called you several times to ask for directions but you did not answer your phone. Unfortunately drivers only have a limited period of time that they can wait around as they will have other deliveries to attend and must eventually move on. We gave you ample opportunity to come to a resolution but you requested a refund and as a result, we were left with no choice but to deduct the cost of the failed delivery from your refund. We do not make anything on failed deliveries and will only ever pass along the exact cost of a failed delivery. I mistakenly ordered the wrong type of superfoil----my fault, but when I asked about returning it, I was informed that there would be a 40% restocking charge, plus the cost of the postage plus the cost of returning it to the warehouse. Based on that, I would never order from them again

You have received what you ordered and as you have stated yourself, it was your mistake ordering the incorrect material. Most insulation products are bulky and transportation costs are significant resulting in costs to return materials which we can't always absorb. Waste of time, took a week to get it and then it came from a local supplier who I could have gone to myself. They just get a discount from a major supplier and take a profit. Wouldn’t use again

Hi Ross, Thank you for your review. We are a broker and a stockist and negotiate the best rates possible from all our suppliers while also delivering from our own depots in London and Manchester. This is no different than your local supplier who also negotiates rates from their suppliers to sell to their customers. They deliver from their stocks and sometimes ship direct from their suppliers to their customers. Just like us. You placed your order on a Tuesday and was delivered 4 business days later not 1 week. We state online that the product you ordered is typically delivered in 3 to 5 working days. We delivered your order within that time frame. Its more than likely that you would have paid more for your order if you went locally and would have had to wait a similar timeframe to have it delivered. Regards Insulation4less

I placed an order for a delivery of celotex and a roll of foil insulation. My bad, I ordered the incorrect foil, so when asked about returning it I was informed that there would be a 40% restocking charge plus post and packaging, so in total around 50% of the purchase price. Thanks for nothing, and I will not be using you again

Hello James, This review unjust given that we have done nothing wrong. It is not our fault that you ordered the incorrect material so we cannot be expected to absorb the cost of your mistake. The restocking charge in this case is what the supplier passed along to us, we do not make anything on restocking charges and they are purely to cover our costs. This company need to be treated with caution. My order of insulation materials was followed by email messages warning about the need to comply with their delivery requirements or face the prospect of non delivery and additional charges. Fair and reasonable you might suggest! I complied in full to these conditions so it's a real disappointment when it would seem very little effort on their part was taken to ensure the materials they were supplying arrived in an undamaged state. Every bale of rock wool was saturated...clearly incorrectly stored....two out of the three sheets of plasterboard were damaged. Be very careful if you use this company to check everything they deliver!

Terrible service. Advertised a delivery, which they could not meet. It's now over a week late, which causes delays and costs. Items get swapped after they have taken your money. Staff don't care and understand the implications of them not upholding what has been advertised.

Hello Marius, Thank you for your valued feedback. Sorry it has taken so long to replace these boards but this is not a fair representation of actual events. We replied back to your request within a few hours and you were promptly informed on the duration period for the replacements. Unfortunately with a combination of stock availability from our supplier and with no deliveries taking place over the Christmas period, we were unable to get the replacements to you until the first week of January. We had arranged replacements and provided a delivery date for these replacements within 36 hours. On our last email to you we asked, would the replacement date be okay and you did not reply to us. While we fully acknowledge you received damaged goods, your review is somewhat unfair given our speedy reaction to provide a resolution. Kind regards, Insulation4less

Product Turned up damaged after delivery driver was going to deliver outside in the pouring rain and did not contact me prior to let me know that he was on his way! Once I examine the products and found that it was damaged I contacted customer services to be Told that this is acceptable as it is just minor damage, the damage was actually to all the corners their answer was we can collect it and give you a full refund not that they will exchange the goods for once which wasn't damaged. All in all very very poor service products very very Poor , would stay clear from this company. In the endwe had to use the product and make good with some from another company which was first class and cheaper.

These boards were not damaged, any of the negligible blemishes are considered industry standard and will not effect the overall performance of the boards. We will always replace damaged goods promptly but in this case the goods were not damaged. In relation to the contact prior to arrival, you were sent a text to your mobile with some tracking info on the day of delivery. We did not receive a request from you for a call prior to arrival, if we had done so we would have requested this for the drivers attention. Placed an order after being promised a specific delivery date by the website, call centre and uk sales manager Stephen McLoughney. Order never arrived on due date, I wasn’t informed of this until I, myself, enquired at the end of day to ask where the order was! Took time away from work to accept and sign for delivery. Requested full refund of the delivery charge -£75.00, verbally denied. Complaint remains open after almost 5 weeks with no sign of resolution! Disgraceful customer service throughout and extremely difficult to communicate with Stephen McLoughney! -uk sales manager. Do not use this company!

Do not use this company . I received an email saying delivery was confirmed for the 17th of November. No sign of it . So I called on the 18th . Spoke to an unhelpful person with poor language skills whom didn't seem to be able to understand what I was saying . Eventually I received an email staring the delivery would be with me in 30 mins . So I commenced ripping out . 1 hour 30 mins later still no deliver . I'd been in the front garden of the property all morning working . Next thing I know I receive an email telling me delivery was attempted but I wasn't there and the delivery would now be on the 21st . I asked about just getting my money back to go and pick it up somewhere to keep the job going . I was informed it would take over a week to process the money back to my account . I said this was exceptable . So come the 21st I call to enquire regarding delivery only to be told the order is canceled you'll get you money back when we've processed it . Nearly a whole week wasted work wise and down £1200 for 10 days for no reason . It wouldn't have been so bad had it not been for the appalling attitude of the staff .

Hi Steven, Sorry to hear of your poor experience with your order. Our courier did try to call you on the day of delivery (17th Nov) about 30 minutes or so after you called our office to check access, as the courier thought access would be tight. It seems that you missed the call and the courier then did not attempt to make the delivery. When you called our office later in the day, we were unaware that the courier did not make delivery but was made aware soon after that the courier did try to make contact with you prior to making delivery. As stated above, when you did not answer the call, the courier moved on to another drop. At this point, we informed you that we could redeliver your order on the 21st. You requested to cancel your order and have a refund by email stating "If you aren't going to deliver today then I don't want to do any further business with you, and you can give me my money back". At this point, we done everything in our power to try to get your order back out to you that day or worse case the following day. Unfortunately, the courier was unable to accommodate this until Monday 21st. We then emailed you to inform you that the order would be cancelled and that if you could respond back to confirm the cancellation. Unfortunately, you did not reply to our email, but, we had no choice but to cancel the order on our side to avoid the order being redelivered until you came back to us. You emailed in on the 21st asking where your order was, but as stated above we had to cancel your order because you did not respond to our email to confirm what you wanted to do. We have asked you a number of times if you would like us to reinstate your order and reschedule the delivery, but you reply to our emails without answering the question. We feel it is best at this point to continue with the cancellation and refund. We are sorry this has been a less than perfect experience. Unfortunately though, it is important that couriers can get through when they try to call to make delivery. Otherwise, they may just move onto another delivery and that is out of our control. Also, if you had responded to our email on the 17th accepting delivery for the 21st, then your order would have arrived today. Regards Insulation4less

Terrible service. The order was over 2 weeks late and went through several delivery companies, none of which seemed to know what was going on. One sheet of celotex showed up one day and the other ten were somewhere else. I specifically called up to make sure the delivery would be available and was assured that it was. More than 2 weeks later and the entire job was held up due to this. Nightmare.

Bad service, all items out of stock after ordering and alternatives offered. Repeated phone calls had to be made to sort order. Delivery not turned up on correct day. Messages left to call back ignored. Delays on order, 7nhelpful staff. Altogether not a good experience.
