Thank you for your review and feedback. On this occasion, we do find this review a little unfair as, your order was delivered with our timeframe of 3 to 5 working days. Your order was placed on 31st December while we were closed over the holiday break. We had clearly stated on our website that orders would not be processed until our return to the office so your order was not processed until the 2nd of January, the next working day after you placed your order. You emailed us on 1st January (while we were still closed) to advise there were access issues at your property. We advised transport that there would be access issues at your property so to faciliate your delivery, they made the decision to deliver your goods on a van. Therefore, this was split into two separate deliveries, the first on the 5th (within 4 working days) and the second drop on the 8th (within 5 working days). We hope this makes the delivery timeframe clearer for you.

“Asked to be delivered to main site but only deliver to payment address. Cost me 2 hours in work time to transfer to site”

“Boards arrived battered with tapered edges and corners broken and surface heavily scratched. Boards were intended to be tape and joined but not sure they can be used as a finished surface now.”

The order confirmation you received advises to contact us immediately if there are irregularities upon arrival. The order was delivered on 12/10 and you have only brought the issue to our attention today. “Was told 2 to 3 days for delivery, it took a week and when the boards arrived 5 were quite damaged and other looked in not very good condition.”

“Got the delivery date wrong, didn’t keep me updated with this until I had to contact multiple times. Was also meant to receive a phone call from sales to add onto the order, never received a call back. Service could’ve been much better.”

“I assumed the tape would be delivered at the same time as the celotex panels which I ordered at the same time and therefore would get free delivery. It was sent separately and I was charged £8 delivery of the tape. Why would I want tape before the panels? No common sense.”

“I purchased celatex insulation boards which where as advertised. Unfortunately I was given a delivery day and had someone there all day to take delivery. They never arrived and at 3 minutes to 5pm I received a message informing me it had been cancelled and giving another date. When I tried to ring the next day it proved impossible and the email messenger service you seem to use wouldn’t work on my phone it wanted a password etc. I sent an ordinary email to the manager of the delivery company asking for an estimated time of day and eventually received a reply. The lack of being able to just talk to someone as a last resort as with so many companies now days makes what should be a simple process VERY stressful, Your product might be very competitive but when paying someone for two days it’s not.”

“11 x 12.5mm taper boards delivered promptly and neatly on a double pallet (along with numerous celotex boards) However when finally getting round to moving them to do the job found 1 board was covered in dirt and muck and another had a wavy line scribed in it so when it was pick up it snapped in half along the line, ruining the board. 4 other board had minor paper finish damage with means additional drywall filling required. Next time I’ll pay more and collect local to ensure better condition products”

“The insulation is at a good price and the delivery came quick but you better hope you don't have to return anything. Paid 108 for 2 insulation boards, requested a return and was informed it would cost us 103 to return them! Joke.”

“Ordered some insulation and plasterboard, was advised that the insulation I placed an order for wasn't available. Is a little odd that I was still allowed to order it in the first place, but all was well as they helpfully gave me a call and recommended a like for like replacement. They provided a delivery date for all items. On the morning of delivery I hadn't received any estimated delivery time, as such i called went through the the 'deliveries' option which asked me to leave a message, which i did and also sent an email. After no response I called and selected the 'sales' option which was immediately answered. The sales agent, advised that the delivery will be between 12 and 1, however the insulation that I ordered won't be delivered until next week!! This is very disappointing I had taken annual leave to finish this job, but now I can't do anything as only have the plasterboard and a bit of loft insulation. Whilst they offer a cheaper service I wish I had paid a little more and got better service, they must have known before this morning that the insulation wasn't ready. If I was provided with more notice I could have rearranged my days off. I am now trying to find another supplier so i don't waste my annual leave”

Hi Mike, Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, due to shortages in the market we have got some depots that will bring in other brands of PIR to keep up with demand. Unfortunately, as of lately Celotex has been unable to keep up with demand and when a customer orders Celotex sometimes we may need to swap that out for a different brand. Any other brands that are swapped out for Celotex are of equal quality and will provide the same Thermal results and if not better, depending on the brand. We will never supply a replacement product that is sub par in performance. Regards Insulation4less

“ORdered on a thursday, received the next tuesday with little to no notification of when it would arrive, for £50 delivery this isn't good, other sellers were doing names day deliveries for this price. Overall they were cheaper but sent me a completely different (cheaper) brand product and not the celotex I ordered. While they maintain that they are 'essentially' the same, when you're building something to a tight spec 'essentially the same' isn't good enough. Luckily I could use these slabs in the project, but for the awful communication, selling me goods different to those I ordered and a complete lack of customer service department (cant get through on the phone) I would never recommend these people who are just middle men between big distributers and you.”

“This is the second time I have purchased insulation from Insulation4less and unfortunately the delivery service was of a similar poor standard. There was considerable damage to 3 packs of the Rockwool insulation to the point where the flexible side of the insulation was unusable as there was so much damage and insulation missing.”

“Mostly great but the top sheet of insulation got bent and damaged (Probably in transit) and cracked when we later cut it, wasting an entire section as bent insulation board not ideal for putting against flat walls. Otherwise good”

“Delivery - received an email to say Delivery date of 9th Nov 2020, however half my order turned up 6th Nov, I had to drive to site to receive the delivery, incredibly annoying Different product sent - I ordered Kingspan TP10 pitched roof board however what arrived was Celotex, I wasn't asked if this was ok prior to delivery and the first I knew was when it turned up, very poor communication to not ask me if they can send a totally different brand. If I order Kingspan I expect to receive Kingspan regardless of whether it has the same specification as Celotex.”
