Very poor delivery. The driver rang me when he was at the address and didn't want to wait 30 min for me to get home even if the agreement was they'll call 1h in advance. Since I wasn't at home and the next delivery date was after a week I refused the order. I was than charged Β£30 for a delivery that was supposed to be free because of the amount I have bought. Don't recommend using them if you need something urgent.

Hi, Thank you for your review. Sorry to hear you had an issue with your delivery and below I would like to outline our typical processes with deliveries. We do request for drivers to call 1 hour before delivery. However, as we use some third party carriers all we can do is request this. At the end of the day its down to the driver's discretion if they call or not. The majority of drivers will call but from time to time some will not and will just arrive at the delivery location. We do notify all our customers in advance by email and text message as to what day your order will arrive, and we do also offer a service of providing a time when possible on the day of delivery for our customers. Unfortunately no driver is going to wait 30 minutes for you to arrive then spend a similar time unloading. All drivers are on tight deadlines and waiting 30 minutes for 1 customer to arrive means that another customer that was given a time is now going to have to wait longer for their order to arrive. If this happens 2 or 3 times a day we then have customers complaining to us about delivery times we have given them not being met and also deliveries running into the next day due to delays. So in essence its very difficult to get it right for everyone. As you can see delays like this have a knock on effect with everyone else. Although in a perfect world we would prefer for the driver to be able to wait for you and for this delay not to effect our other customers but unfortunately it does affect our other customers. This is why our drivers cannot wait for customers to arrive for any more than 15 minutes or so at each drop off location. We do provide all the information required to ensure somebody is on site to receive their delivery and if you are unable to be there on the day of delivery we recommend you notify us of this, and we will rearrange another day that is more suitable. In regard to the delivery charge. We arrived at site on the day agreed and it was due to you not being available that we had to return the goods back to our warehouse and restock them. This is a cost to us. We only charged for the attempted delivery cost and did not charge a restocking fee of 30% which most other companies would. I do think this is fair for both sides as it cost us a lot more than Β£30 to deliver, return and restock your items. Typically, all our orders are delivered within a 1-3 day window which is as fast if not faster than most other companies. Just, in this case you were unavailable at the delivery location to receive the items. If you had been there we would have delivered in this time frame. Again we are very sorry your order did not go according to plan, but we do have to take other customers into consideration when it comes to keeping to delivery times. Regards Insulation4less

Not at all happy as I queried as to wether you shipped to N Ireland which I was told on an online chat that you did.At a later date I then made my order which you accepted only to be phoned up and told you do not ship to my address and then have to wait 4-5 days on a refund.I think your website needs to not accept an order if it detects a postcode outside of the mainland.

Hi Graeme, Very sorry to hear that a member of our team informed you we deliver to N. Ireland. We have since corrected this with our Chat Team. I reviewed your order I see you created your order on the 4th Dec and a refund was applied back to your card the following day 5th of Dec at 3pm. At this point the refund would have only settled for payment out of our account at midnight of the 5th as that is the industry standard for card payments, to which have no control over. From that point onward again we have no control over how long it takes for your bank to process the refund and then update their system to show the payment back on your statement. From your review it seems it may have taken your bank a further 3 to 4 days to update their computer systems to show the refund in your account. We processed your refund within 24hrs and within that time frame before the refund was processed in the interest of customer service we did actually try to source the material for you. Again sorry for the miscommunication between yourself and our Chat Team Regards Insulation4less

Hi Francis, Sorry that you got the Ikotherm product instead of Celotex. From time to time if a depot has a certain brand in stock they may deliver that brand without notifying us of the change. Please be assured that Ikotherm is exactly the same as Celotex and will achieve the same Uvalues as the celotex equivalent. Once again sorry for the confusion and I hope my answer relieves any concerns you may have had about Ikotherm. Regards Insulation4less

Shocking service. I am now on my third promised date for delivery. I have had to cancel builders twice and was never contacted to let me know I would receive the order. I only found out when I called and asked where my order was. I will not be using insulation 4 less again and will dissuade any of my colleagues from doing so either

Hi Neil, I am very sorry to hear your order was delayed. Unfortunately there is such a huge demand for all Rockwool and glasswool products in the market today that the manufacturers simply cannot make the material quick enough. As a result when we get a delivery date from the manufacturer for these specific materials they do not really care if they deliver the material on time or not. Simply because they are so busy. We do our best to try and ensure that our customers material arrives on the agreed delivery date. However there are times when a delivery date is not met by the manufacturer and they do not inform us of the delay. We have taken steps with our suppliers to try improve their communication with us on such matters. Unfortunately this is an industry wide issue for these products and would like to apologise for the delay as I am sure this was very distressing for you. I note from your previous other 2 orders of similar products that they went smoothly and all was delivered on time. Regards Insulation4less

You should call Insulation4more. They dont have what you buy. What they do is they try to find some cheap materials and you still have paid for good stuff. They changed delivery date 3 times, i was trying to save bit of money but my project was delayed 3 weeks...it did cost me double. Never buy to themπŸ›‘πŸ›‘πŸ›‘πŸ›‘πŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Ž

A terrible experience. - Repeatedly given wrong delivery dates. - First delivery driver from this company drove past our house, before returning full to the depot to hand in his notice. - Second delivery driver, refused to wait 30sec for a car to be moved and unloaded 50 yards from our house, only to then park at the side of our house while he went for a 1/2 hour walk in the Nature reserve. - Half the Insulation delivered was old and soiled, and rejected by Building Control as was unbranded and probably old specification. - Finally got new insulation weeks after original order.

Ordered insulation in good faith. They took payment then called to say one item would cost another Β£50 and the other items had a minimum order and offered a product that didn't meet the specs required. Was told a refund would be done by a specific day and needless to say I still don't have my Β£900 back yet!. Pretty useless bunch.

Hi Andrew, We are very sorry we were unable to fulfil your order. Kingspan have recently stopped making the product you bought and request now a minimum order of 1000m2 and did not inform us of the change. We offered you alternatives that were not of a lesser quality as you suggested. We offered you an alternative option so you could make an educated decision on how you would like to proceed. As you chose at that point to cancel your order we then informed you that your refund would be processed on Friday which is today. The refund was processed today as promised. Regards Insulation4less

This company does not deliver full ordered quantity - perhaps that's the reason they price cheap - do not use them you will not get ALL your order

Hi Paul, Sorry to hear you are not satisfied with your delivery. I took the liberty this morning to speak with the sales person that was looking after your order and from what we can see from our warehouse is that all your rolls of insulation did in fact leave the warehouse on the day of delivery. We also have a signed delivery docket that was signed by one of your workers onsite. We try to inform our customers to fully satisfy themselves that what they have ordered is correct on the day of delivery. See part of the email sent to you on the 18th Jan "NOTE REGARDING DELIVERY: Please ensure there is a way of offloading your order from the delivery vehicle on-site (unless otherwise agreed with Insulation4Less). Always check your delivery is correct when it arrives before you unload and sign for your order. Please report any damage immediately to us by emailing deliveries@insulation4less.co.uk with a picture and description of any damage." It is almost impossible for us to rectify an issue after the goods have been signed for and accepted on site and in this case I believe it was your plumber who signed for the goods. If we were notified of an issue at the time of delivery we could have rectified this immediately by ensuring the driver counted what was delivered also. However as this issue was not reported to us until well into the following day and our system is showing the correct amount of product was loaded onto our truck and then delivered we can only assume something happened to the goods after it was delivered and accepted on site. I do wish there was more we could do to help but I feel that it seems that something happened to the insulation after it was delivered to site and this is the very reason why we ask our customers to ensure they are happy with what has been delivered. If you would like to discuss this further please feel free to email info@insulation4less.co.uk and address the email to me and I will personally look after you. Kind regards Johnpaul Insulation4less

Hi Andrew, Very sorry to see you had a bad experience with our delivery driver. You did however fail to acknowledge our customer service staff who on many occasions changed your delivery dates. In fact done so on 4 occasions and followed through on every request each time. Albeit the driver that delivered your order was not very helpful it is unfair to give a 1 star review when our customer service team worked tirelessly to ensure each delivery date change would happen and each time they done so you changed it again. It would have been nice to not only point out the flaws in the delivery service which you did but to then also acknowledge the hard work our customer service provided to you. As an fyi the delivery driver was suspended and thank you for pointing out to us his unhelpful behavior. Regards Insulation4less

Hi Neil, Thank you for your review and sorry that your plasterboard was slightly damaged on the edges. We do advise our customers to check all products before signing the delivery docket and unloading the products off the delivery truck. Also its important to ensure that products like plasterboard are not damaged on arrival. Due to plasterboard being fragile, knocks and bangs can happen during the transportation process. If you had of notified us that some of the boards were damaged we would have exchanged them for you immediately. We would much rather you notified us of the issue at that time to give us the opportunity to correct the issue. Sorry also it took 2 weeks to get your Celotex insulation to you however this is an issue with Celotex and other similar PIR manufacturers. There is a worldwide shortage on the chemical MDI that makes PIR insulation and companies like Celotex are not making as much insulation as to what they need to keep up with demand. As a result Celotex orders that are received are put into an allocation queue and the lead time is 2 - 3 weeks. This is something that is out of our control until production comes back to normal. We do also have a notification within the checkout process on our website notifying all customers of this extended lead time. Regards Insulation4less
