“Really impressed with the delivery driver who was very helpful! Product was well wrapped and easy to use just as I’d hoped. not as cheap as insulation rolls but much easier to handle and more importantly easier to move should future access be required.”

“We were rather disappointed to find that when the 90mm were delivered only 3 of them were in plastic. All the rest were single and in various states of disrepair. Some were scuffed, some had dirty sides. We felt that to have had 9 sheets unwrapped seemed a little excessive. However, other than this the service was very good”

“I’m very happy with products, but not happy myself and driver had to take off van all products manually, there were two van loads, we expected a forklift or hyab on a lorry, even had a notification a 26 ton vehicle would be unloading. So cleared space, removed a front fence to allow ease of delivery. I felt totally sorry for driver. The company should not assume a large delivery is going to a building site that has forklifts to offload. Whoever arranges deliveries, look up address on google maps, if it’s a single bungalow and not a building site. Allow for proper delivery vehicle and stop treating drivers like they worth less than minimum wage. Petrol, time loading and then unloading by hand about 24 bags adhesive, insulated plasterboard that was stacked to near ceiling 8x4 sheets and 20 odd sheets of 8x4 normal plasterboard.”

“Extremely poor service, broken promises, and no accountability I ordered insulation boards from this company after being clearly told that orders placed before 11am would be delivered the next day if I paid an £80 delivery charge. I placed my order at 10am and paid the extra fee. The delivery did not arrive the next day. I had builders on site who were paid but unable to work. After calling the company, I was told they were checking with the depot and that delivery would arrive by the end of the day. It did not. The same thing happened on day two — no delivery and more money lost in labour costs. On day three, I was told the order would be dispatched within 90 minutes. Once again, nothing arrived. The delivery finally arrived six days later. Even the delivery driver was surprised, stating the depot is very close to my property. When I later needed to return boards (which I accept was my error), I was informed I had to buy replacements first and then request a return. Two days later I was told the return would only be accepted with a 20% restocking fee, and I would also need to pay return delivery. In total, I spent over £500 on materials and incurred additional costs paying builders for several days due to the company’s failure to meet its delivery promise. I requested compensation and received no response. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company.”

This was purely down to a simple error with the depot putting the wrong date in the system for delivery. We acknowledge that we failed to meet the next day delivery promise on this occasion. While we know it cannot recover the cost of your builders time, we can confirm that your next day delivery fee was fully refunded as soon as the delay was identified. Regarding the return of materials, our records show that some incorrect items were unfortunately ordered in error at the time of purchase. To resolve this, we assisted you in placing a new order for the correct boards. When arranging the return of the original items, we found that the haulage cost for a collection of the incorrect items would have exceeded the value of the products themselves. In an effort to save you money, we suggested a private sale or a self return to the depot, which you decided on a self return. The 20% restocking fee is a standard requirement from the depot for all returns. We apologize if this, combined with the administrative closing of your ticket after 48 hours of no response, felt like a lack of accountability. “The process of ordering was straightforward and efficient and the product is exactly as expected but the best part of the service was the delivery which was organised to suit my tenant with a van that could get to the property and a driver who helpfully brought everything inside. Thank you!”

“Was cheapest price, but then delivery made it very similar to others. Some confusion over the emails and texts about dispatch and delivery, but after a phone call to clarify it came when expected. The outside plastic of hte rolls was disgustingly dirty, the delivery driver warned and I had to wash them all down before I dared move them indoors and up to the loft as anything they touched gained a black dirt layer instantly. But insulation was fine inside.”

“The price is good and the product is good 😊 Unfortunately, the delivery experience wasn’t great 😌 I took a day off work and waited in all day for no delivery to show up. No contact and no explanation given. By chance I managed to catch the last minute rescheduled delivery the next day before I headed out to work. When I pointed out the inconvenience caused and the added costs incurred; the customer agent responded with: ‘these things happen’. I agree, mistake's happen, this can’t be controlled, but how you respond to your mistakes is what matters. For £50 delivery I would expect better, a partial refund on delivery would be the minimum I would expect here. Not great, won’t use them again. Cheers”

“This company does sell insulation products for a bit less - but they charge twice the price for delivery than any other supplier - unless you spend over £300, then it's the same as other suppliers. My order seemed to be coming direct from different suppliers - so my orders were split up. Just be ready to tell your client they're paying £50, just for delivery.”

“Truly outstanding service. I needed to get a good amount of sheet material delivered for my garage conversion and was slightly dreading the delivery. Once I had a delivery date I called to talk through the process. I spoke to an actual person who took it upon herself to deal with my order until the day of delivery where she called me to let me know what time they would arrive. The lorry actually broke down before the first delivery but I was called straight away and wasn’t left hanging. Once they delivered the next week it was a super early delivery which was great and the driver operating the forklift was amazing. He was super friendly and simply asked where I wanted everything and even when I told him I wanted it in the garage he managed to split the pack with the fork lift and push everything in. I would fully recommend Insulation4less and will definitely use them again.”
