Terrible customer service. The aluminium tape I ordered (and paid for) still hasn’t turned up 4 weeks after the Cellotex was delivered. Insulation4less are blaming the courier, and have made no effort to follow up on the missing items, re-send or offer a refund.

Very disappointed, quality of product was terrible. Tried to complain and was offered £10 back when 40% of the boards were damaged and couple out of 10 were water damaged as well. Then you have nit offered any compensation yourselves

Slow delivery, pleasant driver, good were second hand, off a site by the looks. I was desperate on timescales so accepted them. Asked the company why they were recycled goods when I paid new price. No reply. Customer service shocking.

2 boards are dented and scratched. The edges of some of the boards have had the edges damaged so the plaster crumbled when it was cut. I have not had time to complain directly. Thanks for the reminder to do so. Not only that but you omitted to inform me that part of my delivery would not be arriving on the agreed delivery day.

Hi Chiara, Sorry to hear that some of your boards arrived damaged. Its a pity you did not let us know of this before you wrote a review as we could have exchanged them for you. To give us a 1* review when you did not notify us or allow us to rectify the issue is very unfair. We do advise all customers to not accept a delivery of goods if they are damaged so we can exchange them. This is on the order confirmation you receive and if you had of done so we could have sent you out replacements. Unfortunately the products you bought are extremely fragile and can get damaged during delivery as our trucks can do multiple drops to building sites before they get to you. This results in boards being moved around and shifted in the truck to make space. This can result in some edge damage. Again it is a pity you did not notify us of this before you decided to give us a 1* review. Regards Insulation4less

First time order arrived the plasterboard was damaged so had to reject the delivery. Then was re delivered later that afternoon with only a driver so had to personally help carry off the boards one by one. Ordered 18 and only received 17 and was told I would receive the other shortly. That’s was over two weeks ago and had zero correspondence despite emailing several times. Customer service is a shambles clearly not interested once you have the money. My project is now one board short and stalled for weeks as I await my replacement. Would normally just reorder one somewhere else but I’m not paying £30 delivery for one board.

I made an order over 2 weeks ago and so far received only half of it. Several phone calls and email were simply ignored. Finally, after further phone call, I received email saying that my expected delivery date for the rest of my order is 16/10/2020 (16 days after I placed my order!). Today is 17/10/2020 and still haven't received my items! Very poor organisation! Where is my order?!

I bought some material for my roof for more than 2 months and I still did not receive some parts also I can not finish the roof without that item, I contact several time to supplier and speak with Darren regarding that, Darren told me item should be with me 12-10-20 but still waiting also the supplier cut off their telephone number so I can not chase up anymore! the funniest part is I contact them before I order and I said everything is in stock which is a big lie!!!! that's a shame! I would like to return everything as it's worthless to keep some material which is I can not use it but the supplier refuses to refund or send me the part which is missing.

I was very disappointed with this service. Insulation once ordered and paid for on line through insulation4less was provided by a 'very local' company to me, but because was ordered through Insulation4less I ended up paying an expensive delivery cost twice, which could have been avoided if I had purchased it direct from this local supplier. This then cancelled the on-line saving. Beware, shop around locally.

Hi Paul, Your review is slightly miss-leading, which is very unfair. You placed your order on the 29th August and requested a 7th September delivery date. On the 2nd September you got notification that your order was being delivered on the 7th September as requested by you. Also on the 30th September on the email where you requested for the 7th September delivery date you also requested that we add an additional 4 sheets of insulation for your neighbour. We in-turn sent you out a request for payment for the additional 4 sheets of insulation with no additional delivery charge at this time. You failed to make payment for the 4 additional sheets of insulation until the 7th September which was too late to add them now to your order as it had dispatched for delivery that day. As you now needed a second delivery for the 4 sheets of insulation we had to charge you for the delivery. Looking at the time line in which the payment request went out to you for the 4 sheets of insulation to when you actually made payment for them was 4 days. The request for payment went out to you by email on the 3rd September and you did not make payment until the day of delivery on the 7th September. There would have been no way we could have added these 4 sheets to the delivery at such short notice and typically our trucks are loaded the night before for an early am dispatch. If you had of made payment in time (and not taken 4 days to do so) we would have been able to add your 4 sheets of insulation to the same delivery at no extra cost, which is what we had planned to do. We done everything we could on our end to ensure you got the additional sheets of insulation on your first delivery and it was you that failed to fulfil your side of the agreement which was to make payment on time. Then you leave a bad review about Insulation4less!!!!!!! Regards Insulation4less

Didn’t arrive on time. Waited in for a whole day and didn’t receive a call. Chased delivery and the delivery driver had decided he couldn’t deliver despite there being an empty driveway. Wasted a day of our time.

Statement from the company 'In relation to your statement that you are unable to cancel your order. This is untrue. What you were told was that your order has already been dispatched from the manufacturer and will be delivered next week so the order cannot be cancelled after its dispatched' My feedback: In my opinion, their feedback to my earlier review is incorrect 1) If the product has been dispatched a month ago as claimed by the company, i should have received it by now. But i havent received it yet. I called them up up again today and was told I will be provided tracking details soon. 2) With respect to timing, Back in month of May I was told over phone it will be delivered in June. (I agree that I may have made a mistake and overlooked actual delivery time while ordering online). But we are in July now and no signs of delivery.

Hi Siva, Sorry your order was slow getting out to you. Unfortunately this manufacturer has been over run with orders since Covid-19 as they are one of the UK's main manufacturers of polycarbonate screens for shops, hotel, bars etc. As a result information has been slow in coming over to us from their team. Back in May the lead time was down as 6 to 8 weeks delivery on our website for the product you ordered. Which leaves a delivery time of July. We would have been informed by the manufacturer that they were getting orders out quicker so it was anticipated that your order would arrive early. However this ultimately did not happen and your order reverted back to the original time frame of 6 to 8 weeks. Again we are sorry we could not get your order out any earlier than displayed on our website at the time of ordering. Regards Insulation4less

Ordered Celotex and tried to deliver something else. The wrong product for the application, so it had to be returned. Why bother processing an order if you send the wrong product? A complete waste of time!

Shambles of a company placed the order Wednesday morning by 3.30pm Friday still no email or returned call with a delivery date, after 4 calls to them and being told despatch hadn't got back and was not picking up the phone, I cancelled order, to be told accounts will sort out payment Monday with the £1000+ taking up to 7 days

Please do not use this website if you need your products ASAP. . Throughout checkout process, website never provides estimated delivery date other than the small prints on the product page, which is easy to overlook if your are concentrating on the product details. Mailed them (no response - even though they claim they will respond in 24 hrs). Called delivery team and i was told they have placed order to manufacturer and nothing can be done until manufacturer ship them. I am unable to cancel order. Have to procure product from elsewhere. Regret using this website.

Hi Siva, Thank you for the review. However your review is incorrect. The products you bought do have an estimated delivery date on the product page and also on the Covid-19 update page. It also certainly is not small print as the estimated delivery date on the product you bought is almost equal to the size of the Add to Cart button. We do our best to respond to all emails as quickly as possible. However, due to Covid-19 response times are a little slower than normal. So sorry for the slower than normal response time here. We are hoping to be able to get back to normal response times over the coming weeks. In relation to your statement that you are unable to cancel your order. This is untrue. What you were told was that your order has already been dispatched from the manufacturer and will be delivered next week so the order cannot be cancelled after its dispatched. You can of course refuse your order on delivery and it will be returned to the manufacturer. At that point the order will be cancelled and refunded. This is normal procedure with any online company. After telling they had stock, and taking my payment, I received an email hours later stating that the delivery date would be delayed by 4 weeks. They then withheld my refund for a week! So, no, I dont have nice things to say in this review!!!

Hi Adam, Your order was received on April 1st at 10am. We informed you of the delay which you requested to cancel the order. We then issued the refund when you replied to us at 3:30pm the following day. When we process a refund it then takes a number of days for your bank to process this request and update your statement. So at no point did we hold your money for a week. In fact your refund was processed before we even got your money so in real terms we never had your money it spent all the time in cyberspace waiting for the banks to process the information. Very poor delivery. The driver rang me when he was at the address and didn't want to wait 30 min for me to get home even if the agreement was they'll call 1h in advance. Since I wasn't at home and the next delivery date was after a week I refused the order. I was than charged £30 for a delivery that was supposed to be free because of the amount I have bought. Don't recommend using them if you need something urgent.

Hi, Thank you for your review. Sorry to hear you had an issue with your delivery and below I would like to outline our typical processes with deliveries. We do request for drivers to call 1 hour before delivery. However, as we use some third party carriers all we can do is request this. At the end of the day its down to the driver's discretion if they call or not. The majority of drivers will call but from time to time some will not and will just arrive at the delivery location. We do notify all our customers in advance by email and text message as to what day your order will arrive, and we do also offer a service of providing a time when possible on the day of delivery for our customers. Unfortunately no driver is going to wait 30 minutes for you to arrive then spend a similar time unloading. All drivers are on tight deadlines and waiting 30 minutes for 1 customer to arrive means that another customer that was given a time is now going to have to wait longer for their order to arrive. If this happens 2 or 3 times a day we then have customers complaining to us about delivery times we have given them not being met and also deliveries running into the next day due to delays. So in essence its very difficult to get it right for everyone. As you can see delays like this have a knock on effect with everyone else. Although in a perfect world we would prefer for the driver to be able to wait for you and for this delay not to effect our other customers but unfortunately it does affect our other customers. This is why our drivers cannot wait for customers to arrive for any more than 15 minutes or so at each drop off location. We do provide all the information required to ensure somebody is on site to receive their delivery and if you are unable to be there on the day of delivery we recommend you notify us of this, and we will rearrange another day that is more suitable. In regard to the delivery charge. We arrived at site on the day agreed and it was due to you not being available that we had to return the goods back to our warehouse and restock them. This is a cost to us. We only charged for the attempted delivery cost and did not charge a restocking fee of 30% which most other companies would. I do think this is fair for both sides as it cost us a lot more than £30 to deliver, return and restock your items. Typically, all our orders are delivered within a 1-3 day window which is as fast if not faster than most other companies. Just, in this case you were unavailable at the delivery location to receive the items. If you had been there we would have delivered in this time frame. Again we are very sorry your order did not go according to plan, but we do have to take other customers into consideration when it comes to keeping to delivery times. Regards Insulation4less

Not at all happy as I queried as to wether you shipped to N Ireland which I was told on an online chat that you did.At a later date I then made my order which you accepted only to be phoned up and told you do not ship to my address and then have to wait 4-5 days on a refund.I think your website needs to not accept an order if it detects a postcode outside of the mainland.

Hi Graeme, Very sorry to hear that a member of our team informed you we deliver to N. Ireland. We have since corrected this with our Chat Team. I reviewed your order I see you created your order on the 4th Dec and a refund was applied back to your card the following day 5th of Dec at 3pm. At this point the refund would have only settled for payment out of our account at midnight of the 5th as that is the industry standard for card payments, to which have no control over. From that point onward again we have no control over how long it takes for your bank to process the refund and then update their system to show the payment back on your statement. From your review it seems it may have taken your bank a further 3 to 4 days to update their computer systems to show the refund in your account. We processed your refund within 24hrs and within that time frame before the refund was processed in the interest of customer service we did actually try to source the material for you. Hi Francis, Sorry that you got the Ikotherm product instead of Celotex. From time to time if a depot has a certain brand in stock they may deliver that brand without notifying us of the change. Please be assured that Ikotherm is exactly the same as Celotex and will achieve the same Uvalues as the celotex equivalent. Once again sorry for the confusion and I hope my answer relieves any concerns you may have had about Ikotherm. Regards Insulation4less
