“Survey took place which was booked by iMyHome but they subcontract it to a company called Quantum Valuations. Was told prior to booking the survey that I could obtain indicative verbal feedback same day. Having chased over 8 times, no feedback, nobody following up with me on the situation. They just do not care. Very disappointed as it's holding up a lot of my other obligations.”

“Great, easy process. Got a range of quotes within minutes then was contacted the next day by 3-4 providers and given all the information I needed to choose who to go with. Had received back the report within 1 week of visiting the site! Think my case was especially quick, but shows it can be done thanks to iMyHome - thank you!”

“We managed to book our survey online over the weekend and had an inspection date booked that week. iMyHome understood we had limited time to get everything returned and they did not disappoint. “survey as expected accept for one surprise comment of saying that the property is in a Radon Gas affected area. In these instances it would be really good if the surveyor had access to a Geiger counter to give some idea of how much the property is affected. Other professional tests by UK Radon take 3 months to carry out and vendors not interested in check the levels before selling.”

Dear Carol, Thank you for taking the time to complete your review of iMyHome.co.uk. The issue of radon comes up when buying and selling properties. The advise from the Government is that anyone can find out if a property is in a radon Affected Area by completing an online search. The search will tell you the chance of that property having a high radon level, which we have advised you of. If you are buying in a radon Affected Area, you may want to consider the following points: 1) Ask the current owners if they have completed a three month radon test. 2) If so ask for a copy of the report. 3) If not, discuss a retention with your solicitor and test when you move in. As Chartered Surveyors we do have a duty of care to inform you if the property is in a high risk area but your legal representative should make relevant enquiries regarding its status and your personal position in this regard. “I had a home buyer report done by iMyhome.co.uk on 29 December 2018 for the house we purchased. I called that Friday before and within a week, they were able to do the survey. Their home buyer report they did was thorough and comprehensive, I couldn't ask for more. The best part is I paid half the cost of what the other surveyors were asking. And believe me I shopped around before deciding on who to go with. No regrets with choosing iMyhome.co.Uk to do homebuyer valuation/report. I would recommend them anytime.”

“They did my homebuyer report valuation promptly and they provided a detailed/comprehensive report of the property we purchased, for a fraction of the price that other surveyors would have charged us. “Not knowing where to start looking, this site helped me get a professional company which was local to my address at a good reasonable price. “Excellent service for us. iMyHome also had the lowest price we could find so we booked in a full homebuyers report with iMyHome. When we had difficulty setting a date with the original surveyor they immediately booked us in with another surveyor at no cost. When the surveyor came, he did an excellent job and his communication was excellent throughout.”
