Imyhome didn’t notify the chartered supervisor of my scheduled appointment which then held my progress 3 more weeks

The survey was quick sadly the surveyor they instructed was bad, we have reported this as they missed so many issues, imyhome did not want to get involved

I found the service was poor and disingenuous it adds a layer of duplication to interactions my biggest complaint is the time agreed with which to initiate the survey once paired with a surveyor. I managed to get a successful outcome but felt the young lady I communicated with was economical with the truth. I was told surveyor initiation would take so many days from when the survey was instructed through imyhome. But once i had paid for the survey i was then told that the surveyor would have to look at how and when the surveyor could fit me into their timelines of availability. Because all imove do is act as a net that collects clients who need surveyor services. It does not control the actual work of the surveyor team. Although it has to be said imove did find a competent surveyor to carry out my Rics 2 survey. They get a one star for obfuscation.

Liars & cheaters. They told me that a surveyor was available within the next 7-10 days but the survey was done 20 days after the booking. They don't respond to emails/phone once they take the payment. They must be investigated for being the scammer they are.

Been waiting for my survey for so long I have had to cancel and go else where. This has caused a delay and I have been told by the company that it can take 2 weeks for a refund. Why? It took 30 seconds for them to take my money. Very disappointing. Stay clear to avoid stress and delays.

The platform books you a surveyor who you would never normally do business with. It's not an experience I would recommend. Do your research and go with someone with good reviews. Not this platform, which basically fills the job with a terrible surveyor who won't give you any real information about the property you are purchasing.

Avoid! They initially lure you with a competitive quote and a short lead time. Once you commit to purchase the nothing goes according to the plan. The surveyor didn't show up at the property on the agreed date, and yet, no one thought of informing us that the survey has been rescheduled by another 2 weeks. we have found out from the estate agent. When you call Harry picks up a phone, but.. hey ho, there are two Harry's!! and whenever you call each one says you have spoken to the other one, then you speak to the other one and he says you spoken to the other Harry! Ridiculous. No question can be ever answered, all you hear you will get a callback, yet no call back ever. Poor service and no discount offered. Save yourself the stress and delay in the process, not worth it.

Poor service from start to finish, having paid our money upfront we had to chase to get a survey assigned and then waited over 3 weeks for the report. Furthermore the website is badly designed, incomplete and overall very poor. The survey however, was well written and very detailed. My recommendation would be to go direct.

Good afternoon, Firstly, it is good to know that you were satisfied with the survey that was produced, and I hope that you managed to use the report to your advantage when it came to moving forward with the purchase. With regards to the delay in producing the report. I understand that the surveyor who undertook the inspection fell ill post-inspection and so while he was still working, there was a slight delay in completing the report. As I am sure you can appreciate, this is something that is beyond our control. The survey I paid for failed to give an accurate description of the house we are looking to buy. Items listed as needing urgent attention were wrong and after I requested a price reduction from the vendor, was given evidence to support the inaccuracies. It was deeply embarrassing to request a reduction based on an inaccurate survey report. I made a complaint to the surveyors over a week ago but haven’t had a reply. Deeply unsatisfactory.

I booked a survey and had great service, the vendor pulled out , I have been trying to get a refund of £449 now for over two weeks now , keep being fobbed off with the same story , I have never had a problem with my bank receiving refunds, it’s normally immediate , getting annoyed now Helen Jepson

Booked a survey with this company got assigned someone on their panel of chartered surveyors. Most important issue to look into the roof wasn't addressed by the surveyor. When specially notified that was my area of interest. Not satisfied with the job.

Service was okay but was sent a link telling me to leave a review and they would sent me £5. Chased numerous times and 3 months later no payment! I am now amending this to poor as that is a poor tactic to get me to leave feedback if they don’t bother to pay or even get back to me!

NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!!! Got the quote online, paid my money straight away, waited 2 days with no response so had to ring them to find out what was going on, got told there was a wait of up to 3 weeks for the survey to be done due to them being busy, no mention of this on their website or at quote stage. Then 4 days later I received a phonecall saying they had to cancel the survey because "the surveyor who had been appointed to do the survey couldn't do it now because his wife was ill" WHAT A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND EFFORT!!!

Paid over a month ago and still not received the survey. I am phoning the surveyor daily. The receptionist is very pleasant but my calls are not returned.

Thank you for your review. In December 2020 due to the festive period and also the global pandemic (COVID-19) it was well documented that the service levels were stretched to between 3 and 4 weeks for an appointment date (subject to access) and a further 5 to 7 working days for the report. All clients were given the option to accept this or decline and all clients were informed before they committed to purchase. In actual fact you paid for your survey on 10/12/2020, when we tried to contact the agent to book the survey in for you we found that they were closed and not re-opening until 4/1/2021. On 4/1/2021 we contact the agent and booked for survey for 5/1/2021 the very next day. Your report was delivered to you on 13/01/2021, the very date you posted this review. So the facts are that your survey was booked within the 4 weeks (Christmas in the middle) and the report took 6 working days to be sent to you following the inspection date. We are an open and honest company (our reviews speak for themselves) and we strive to meet everyone's needs, sometimes there are external factors that are out of our control and because of this, in this instance, we do not accept your review. Messed up our mortgage application, they based their valuation report undervalued the property by 30k and was incomplete and missing any explanation of why it was so undervalued - they were very obstructive during the appeal process to defend their drivel rather than try and make it right - we had to go for another mortgage application with another bank and got the valuation approved through them instead without delay

Imyhome is an aggregator and help source surveyors to those looking for surveys. They do not filter for quality or have any control over surveyors. They contracted out our survey to someone who missed the survey date, did not inform imyhome or us, and rescheduled for 2 weeks later no explanation. We are 3 weeks out from out closing date with no survey. Completely unprofessional. You are better off contacting surveyors independently.

Surveyor missed out key issues with the property purchased, did not send pictures till after exchange. Costing a hefty amount to rectify issues that should have been highlighted in the survey.
