Your chosen charity will receive £200 for every tonne of clothes collected.

“I've used this before in support of Kidney Care UK which has been very helpful in terms of info and support for my mum. She has lived with CKD4 for 14 years. On May 1st she died at home. Her will directed that any unwanted clothes, shoes, dvds, cds, bric a brac and more should go to Kidney Care UK via iCollectClothed. My first choice of collection date was accepted, the initial time slot for collection was changed three times on the day. I didn't mind but I had intended to collect my mother's ashes that day and worried about having time. . There were loads of bags and boxes and I tried to add the charity name to each as well as originating address to cross reference. I think it's important to make this point because charity branded bags aren't issued and it's not a charity found on every high street. The driver, who was very helpful, told me there were donations for other charities on the van - again no branded bags. They all went to a sorting depot - Liverpool in our case - and i told the driver I'd tried to identify the chosen charity on each bag. I wasn't entirely confident with the process as labels can fall off. There were lots of unworn clothes, new shoes and handbags, ornaments, utensils and jewellery boxes. My tip would be label each bag prominently. I haven't lost faith in the service but it mattered more to get the right recipient because if my mother's wishes expressed in her will.”

“Procedures are easy, chose collection date, wait for they reply. Put stuff to bags etc and leave it on your property, accordingly to collection date. Simple.”
