Customer service is beyond dreadful !! tutors don't mark the courses within the given time frames !! They deliberately delay marking so that you have to pay for a course extension !! would not recommend to anyone

Poor customer service and am absolute lack of care. We are paying a price to recieve tutor support throughout the course. Otherwise the rest of the course content could have been obtained for free online. I feel like I have been scammed by these people. They take over a week to mark an assignment, then when the assignment is rejected twice they take a retake fee which you have to pay by calling them up. which takes up more precious time. Then they failed to see that I had already paid the retake fee and had me waiting an additional week to receive news that "you need to pay the fee". This is utter disgusting behaviour from this company. Mind you the changes needed to be made were so simple and easy to check it's a wonder why it takes a week to mark. I definitely will not recommend the course to anyone!

They failed me for no reason and told me to pay a retake fee. The number they said to call didn't even work. It seems to have been a big scam. I am very disappointed.

Good day Today I write this message with tears in my eyes. I would like to make an appeal my latest attempt on my assignment. it's so displeasing, now that I am at the end of my course, that I be showed this kind of treatment. it's all about the money! I feel that this being the last leg of my assignment, I should have been supported in a more thorough manner. in the past I was able to resubmit a third attempt. but now I must pay for a third attempt. I feel lost and unsupported. how do I know that I am moving the right direction based on the feedback that I was given with my first attempt. my course on expiring 31.20.2023 but I am to pay the re-take fee of R350. how do I know that this time when I re-submit it will be correct when I don't understand the feedback of the tutor and that's what I initially said when I received my first tutor review. I made the changes as best as I could understand her feedback and yet I feel like it was all in vain. how do I know the next assignment I submit will be credible? that is why I beg you to please have my assignment marked by a different tutor. when I enrolled, I was given a call at least twice a week from the tutors, now nothing. I will escalate this matter to gateway should I not receive a call from a tutor. never were my third attempts charged for in the past, now suddenly, I am to pay the R350 to re-submit/or have a different tutor, mark I paper. As I don't know what to do! I need a human response! I am in tears, knowing that is well established organization can do this to somebody and not put themselves in our shoes and feel all these kinds of emotions. you submit your assignment and usually within 3-5 days, you get response on your assignment. this assignment, took 7 days to be marked. (that was days wasted that I could have been doing what I am doing right now) so is all this being done intentional to stall time and to just make money off the individual.... then I get told by customer service that I should submit and then follow the tutor’s feedback from there. I have done so, and now I am being told that I am to pay a R350 to re-submit. Oh! And they cannot assist me in a tutor capacity. But never mind when I started this course I had the tutor 2-3 a day on the line with. Giving and guiding me on a path to passing. By making things simplistic. really really displeased by this. I must say this is Really pathetic.

The course was okay however, there’s a general lack of transparency in terms of requirements for internship. I do not recommend you pay for anything until the entire processes and requirements have been spelt out in detail. They take your money and communicate you are not eligible for refund even though they failed to communicate basic requirements. The entire internship sign on process has been very frustrating. Also reaching customer service is incredibly difficult.

The support is dismal and I had technical problems often. Trying to reach anyone in charge us impossible. I seriously do not recommend this company.

I just wanted to let you know that you may not necessarily appreciate this response. Nevertheless, Yes, of course, what we send the first time is Never up to standard. I'm absolutely convinced that i-to-i uses the information that we, as students, send to their advantage - using our ideas for your own teaching efforts and to profiteer off of our efforts, regardless of how much we put in – capitalistic greed. I am firmly against much of what i-to-i suggests; however, they seem to enforce dictatorially on their students - "Do or else"...right. I have done five TEFL programs already, and this i-to-i program is by far the worst. I absolutely detest this program and "will" firmly say that I cannot participate in any other courses i-to-i offer and shall convey that message to anyone else I meet, potentially interested in the program. I am so frustrated with this program that I have nothing nice to say. Thanks for nothing. I have exhausted my efforts in trying to convey pleasant messages to the arrogancy of those overseeing students and the leadership in the i-to-I company to no avail; thus, I shall give it back in the manner I perceive the communication that is given in return to us as students. A terrible course to learn how to teach EFL learners. Get rid of the blatant arrogance of personnel instructing the program. Also, please, can students get actual "teachers instead of secondary tutors?" We also expect responses to projects to be in respectable English - no basic spelling or grammatical errors - as is the case with responses I have received, including my last feedback response. And, it is not just because of the British vs. American English spelling differentiation - it is entirely incorrect spelling.

This people are just after our money. They'll treat u nicely at the beginning so u can place ur course order. I joined I to I last year November but it was a quick decision cause I didn't want to loose the black Friday sale. I didn't Start downloading anything till mid January n before then I wanted to cancel but I wad told I can't. Now I really wanna cancel as I have no time and money as I'm not working but they won't let me cancel . 7.6 on the TCS and CS say I can cancel but for some reason they said I can't cancel. I trully regret .they say I still have to pay n I only did one unit..I have the right to cancel. Whats worse is that they won't explain all that in the beginning.

I to I courses it’s not something that you can play with, I was somewhere in one of the college I did the same course I do at I to I campus in one month I was done but I can bet with my hand to cut it off you can’t do 520hours course at I to I campus in one year. I have seen many students who can finish their work and pass in short time but they can’t do what they study to support their lives. The lesson plans I did was hard for me but I did it by my self and I am sure if my teacher give it to me again I can do it again and again. I to I courses are real and heaven I really feel my head is carrying something 😂😂😂😂

I enrolled with i-to-i and I have had nothing but a bad experience with them, I paid for the advanced Diploma course, I got my certificate for the 180 hour course and that was it. I Passed the other assignments that came after the 180 hour courses except the IELTS exam preparation one. My assignment has been returned to me countless times since mid April up to now, and everytime it seems like there is something new that I have to fix, my course expired mid May with no positive feedback, they always tell me to change this and that, kept changing until I couldn't change anything anymore and I now believe that the second part of the course doesn't exist, that it's a scam. Thinking of involving lawyers so I could atleast get half of my money back and just keep the 180 hour certificate I was able to obtain from them.

I highly recommend contacting the i-to-i Jobs Development Team post-graduation. Jordan Williams was very encouraging; helping me to reword my tired resume and transform it into something more professional. He also guided me towards teaching companies that would be a good fit. The rest is up to me, but at least I now feel well prepared for job interviews.

It is very difficult to do a review of this work. In the foundations TEFL course, there were PDF documents you could download to review the work. The format of this course for review is painful as you waste time going back to try and review. I find this inconsistent and extremely frustrating.

All the ItoI TEFL courses I have done have been first rate! However, the only complaint I have is about the PRINTED CERTIFICATE. The quality is excellent and the certificates are good - but the PRICE!!! Originally 19 pounds, but now an INCREASE To 29 pounds!!!!! This is way too much of a price hike. I would advise you to reconsider this price please.

User interface is terrible. Progress should be saved and I shouldn't have to try and remember where I was before I logged out every time. Also, I should see a percentage telling me how much of the course I have completed but I don't. Some of the quizzes are an absolute joke; most of them come before anything relevant to the quiz has even been taught yet. Navigation is a confusing nightmare; after 20 minutes of going in circles, I still have no idea how to reserve a spot in the 20 hour classroom portion of the course, which was part of the package I paid for. The lessons in their videos are some of the most boring and uninspiring lessons I have ever seen, I have been teaching ESL for 7 years.

The course caters to British English. If you use American English you will lose points on quizzes. Some quizzes do not grade correctly even when giving the correct answer.

I am a 32 y/o journalist who needed this course for a visa. As someone with extensive teaching experience I heartily recommend this to anyone wishing to start a career in ESL. The course is clear, provides worked examples and reasoning and provides you with the information to actually understand the reason for questions asked and how to complete them. Definitely better than a CELTA! See you all in China!

I expected examples of lesson plans rather than information gathered from internet on how to start. New teacher usually don't have many ideas on how to create an effective lesson therefore that would help more.

I have done several courses with I-to-I, Teaching Business English, Teaching English Online and 120hr TEFL/TESOL. I have found all of them very beneficial and extremely helpful. The staff are extremely supportive and the Tutor feed back is excellent. If you plan to teach Online, I recommend you do the Online course, as this opened my eyes as to what is out there with regard to the internet, i.e. blogs, hangouts etc.. The Course is full of useful resources and gives you, as a potential teacher, a great insight. The same applies for the Business English Course, they have helped me immensely, I am very pleased I completed them.

Fast and correct service and communication both online as over the phone. The certificate is very useful to find jobs abroad and after graduation they stay in touch and offer you internships and vacancies.
