“Great quality plants, packaged securely and good communications. Would have liked paper packing tape (or other decomposable alternative to plastic) to be used so that the packaging is easier to recycle or compost.”

“I have given this three stars because I did not receive an email acknowledging my order, which I believe is a fundamental element of on-line ordering. I was about to get on the phone when I received a notification that my order would be delivered the next day. The packaging was very good and the order was brought up to the office space rather than left at reception. The plant was very dry but is healthy and hopefully it will grace the office for several years to come.”

“I have used Horology on several occasions and have never felt let down by them in any way. Firstly, the plants have all been of excellent quality and have arrived in good condition as the packing is more than appropriate and careful. The orders have been dealt with speedily and efficiently The quality of the pots I have bought has also been very good and the choice of styles and colours available is excellent and especially the availability of Pot Liners which have proved to be so useful. I can highly recommend this company and its products.”

“There are no words to say how much I LOVE Hortology. I live in a built-up area and buying plants is not easy. And so it was a total joy to receive all these incredible new and interesting ones. They also gave me personalised and specific advice about caring for them. And everything from start to finish was just lovely. They have a great variety, of types as well as sizes, and I think, by the time I finish, I will be living in a jungle, not a flat! They also have some great plant pots as well.”

“Very nice healthy plant, exactly as advertised. I was impressed that delivery was held back until night time sub-zero temperatures did not threaten. Good notification of this, too, in advance, and a pleasant personal response to my email about a separate delivery problem.”

“The pot I ordered was lovely. Really pleased . It arrived very well wrapped. The plant , a lovely peperomia , had several damaged leaves, and was just in a plastic bag , wedged into its cardboard compartment. Would be a good idea to surround the plant with some of the paper wadding, like the pot . It’s a good plant, and is now recovering!”
