Hi there. The order was for four pots and four plants. I was informed after the order was placed that one of the plants wasn't of the right qulity to send. I therefore told customer support I'd prefer to cancel the plants and sourse those myself. I then decided to take the original 3 plants and source another locally. Seemed to work OK. The local market has a plant stall. Then I had to match inner pot etc.

Hi Kate - thank you for your review. Having looked into this it seems that we dispatched your order 3 days after it was placed. This is a little longer than typical for which we apologise. The delay was due to a backlog of orders due to the really cold weather the week before (which meant we delayed shipping those plants in order for them to still arrive in great condition). We are glad you are happy with the pot despite the slight delay!

The pots are fine, was in stock ordered , apparently out of stock (1pot) so had to wait when questioned 4 pots sent out then 1 later. DPD couldn’t find the property even thought it’s 30,000 sq feet so 2 days they couldn’t deliver the pot. So all in all 3 stars is generally where I’m at.

Hi John Thank you for your review. Two of the pots were not in stock when you ordered. This was indicated on your order confirmation as having a lead time of 1-2 weeks. Our order confirmation is always based on real time information regarding stock levels. It does look like there was some confusion in our subsequent emails where there was a mix up re messaging on the two sizes of the Ryan planters on your order and we sincerely apologise about that. Nice glass but gold mechanism looks a very garish yellow, which makes it look cheap. As it’s plastic it’s not as firm to use as I’d expected. Bit overpriced for the quality.

Slightly disappointed with the colour of the pots, they are described as washed black on the website but look very much grey. Also one of the screws didn’t fit the nut when putting one of the stands together, so we’ve had to glue it instead. For the cost I’m disappointed.

Noor plant pot in velvet green. Sturdy well made pot, but very disappointed with the colour, it just looks black in most lights not green which was my reason for buying it. Shame

Good quality products. I ordered a large, expensive pot which had sold out. I had no email to keep me in the loop about when it would be delivered. I had to contact the company in the end to ask when it would eventually come. I think better communication is needed.

Impressive selection of plants, fast delivery, obscene amounts of plastic packaging inside a good. sturdy cardboard box. Dutch growers will listen to big players such as Hortology, get rid of all those plastic sleeves please. Use vegetable ploythene if they must

The plant arrived with a a few broken leaves as the packaging didn't protect them from being bent. 3 Litres of clay pebbles was not enough to fill the pot (I had to use 6L in the end). It took a lot longer than expected to get the plant delivered. Overall, a bit disappointed with the experience.

I might have sent this before. The plant arrive secured but with two leaves having dropped off. I wish to return it for a refund. Please advise how I can do so.

Plant arrived in not great condition due to how poorly packaged it was for winter conditions. A box with grab hole gaps in the cardboard with plastic wrap and nothing else in winter is madness. Won’t order again I’m afraid.

The pot came in good time and in good condition. I don't have any other experience with Hortology, apart from the barrage of marketing emails received from the moment I placed the order. I did not appreciate this.

Disappointed that I lost almost half of what I paid for the item in paying for it's Return. Didnt like the item once it arrived & discovered there was no free return policy.

I ordered a plant as a housewarming present for my son. The plant was fine I have no issues about that the rating is for the delivery. We were told that the delivery would be over night - it wasn't. I had no information from the delivery company and nothing on their tracker I had to phone them up to see when the delivery would be. Several days after the original promise for delivery the plant was delivered my son had to wait in several days in case the delivery was made. Sadly this has put me off ordering from this company again.

Took 3 days to actually receive delivery as driver wouldn't leave the plant anywhere. When I unboxed it about a dozen leaves fell off with another dozen barely hanging on. It's a small plant so this has left huge gaps and the whole thing looks pretty sad.

Hi, Thank you for your review, We are so sorry that this has happened. Unfortunately the couriers are unable to leave the order in a safe place without prior permission from the customer. This is to ensure the safety of your order, so we do apologise that this may have taken longer to arrive with you than expected. Your order was dispatched from ourselves on a Wednesday and delivered on the Friday, it was in the box for a little longer than usual, but the order was successfully delivered on the Friday to the safe place location they were provided with via the tracking email. We do again apologise that your order did sustain a little damage during transit resulting in loosing a few leaves! The stems of the Peperomia ordered (and Peperomia in general) are often very fragile with much heavier leaves. This sadly means, despite our best efforts, a few leaves may be lost during transit and this is something that is mentioned on our product page to advise. We sincerely apologise if your plant sustained more leaf loss than usual.
