“The plant came and had a few cuts in the leaves and looked very dry but other than that in love with it!”

“Good website with lots to choose from and easy to place an order, my only minor gripe is that the pot i bought was greener in the stock photo than in real life, arrived quickly and securely packaged.”

“This was the second order of pots I have made, once again they came really securely packaged and look great! I also ordered a plant which was not quite so good. It was packaged in a plastic bag, which had been tied at the top and bent some of the plant over damaging it. Not terrible but a simple mistake which could’ve been easily avoided.”

“Second order from Hortology and as before the item is great and looks fantastic. Item was well packaged and dispatched swiftly - unfortunately the courier service (APC) used were problematic compared to competitors! While they confirmed the date of delivery the day before there was no indication of time, they will not leave item with Neighbour or in safe place so waited in all day and still missed them!!!!???? Ended up driving (1 hour round trip) to pick item up from depot as they were unable to confirm delivery time (even AM or PM) on any given day! Suggest Hortology look at more client focussed delivery companies!”

Hello John, Thank you for your order and review, we have reported this issue to APC as you should have received a two hour delivery window on the day of delivery. We can only apologise you didn't receive this email. As for leaving things safely/ with neighbours, our couriers will only do so if the instruction has been added when placing your order. This removes the option for drivers to leave things, especially plants in cooler conditions etc. We shall reach out directly to resolve this for you. Your Hortology Team

“Good service. Item was very well packed and easy to unpack. Only thing I would say is that there were no care instructions included. I know it’s fairly obvious how to look after a plant but they are all different so surprised this wasn’t in there.”

“Really well packaged, speedy delivery. Plants are healthy and as pictured and described. I would say avoid sizing up on the pots. A cosy fit is better ☺️ the pots were affordable compared to lots of other places. The mister was a lil cheap looking for the cap. Looks like plastic.”

“The product is nice, very happy with my plant pot! One thing though, it would be great to have an easy free returns option as sometimes it’s difficult to nail the right types/sizes from online descriptions. I paid £5 for delivery, and then another money to return/exchange.”

“Advice about plants before buying is very useful. Plants and pots came in great condition and promptly. All in all a good experience. The only reservation (and what prevented a 5-star rating) is that the suggested pot size for each plant was not always accurate.”

“The pot I ordered was lovely. Really pleased . It arrived very well wrapped. The plant , a lovely peperomia , had several damaged leaves, and was just in a plastic bag , wedged into its cardboard compartment. Would be a good idea to surround the plant with some of the paper wadding, like the pot . It’s a good plant, and is now recovering!”

“The pots I bought are lovely & I realise they need to be packed up safely but the packaging definitely wasn’t green. There was so much sellotape & cardboard that I had to put it out for recycling on two different weeks. The boxes were huge & then had boxes inside the boxes!”
