Great site, lovely plants and pots. Have bought 3 beautiful plants from them. Just wish they could deliver the plants in the decorative pots, would make it much easier for me. Also a word on their web designers, they need to understand it's no good burying a discount code in a graphic, it needs to be in text so we can copy it.

Hortology is my go-to site for plants and accessories. This was the third order from them and it was delivered very quickly, within a couple of days with update emails in the meantime. This time only 4 stars as the quality of the plant (curly spider plant) was not quite top notch, many of the leaf tips were dried and blackened. I think it will be ok in the long run and I didn’t contact customer services as the plant is for myself but I’d been less than happy if I’d ordered it as a gift. Still, overall I’m happy to use Hortology and would recommend it to others.

Really good service overall. Delivery was prompt and the flower was well protected inside the packaging. I do feel the pot I received is smaller than the measurements I had chosen, but maybe it's an issue on my end as I was a first time plant buyer.

Pleased with planters. Good selection on the website and the ones chosen are perfect. My only gripe with the website is that I missed the £5.00 introductory reduction which arrived in my inbox after purchase.

I have had several plants from Hortology, the plants themselves were lovely, but the last delivery, during transit had been thrown about by the courier, two plants with several stems lost and a lot of the soil had come out of the nursery pot. I had to take the plant into the garden and hose it down as there was so much soil on the leaves and stems, I also had to replace lost soil, which luckily I had available. Also, the boxes are unnecessarily big for the purpose and wonder if this could be improved. I ordered a small watering can (which I am very happy with) no plants with that order, and the box was massive.

We really appreciate your feedback and have passed this along to our couriers regarding the soil spillage and stem loss from transit. We have also raised the method of packaging with our warehouse team who have advised they chose a larger box as when sent in a smaller box the spout can sometimes bend. Ordered second lot of decorative grit for a second "cactus garden". Product is OK but a bit disappointed that it was all pale grey; first lot I bought had buff coloured bits along with the grey. Just being a bit picky but a pretty good product nevertheless.

The plants arrived in good time, unfortunately they had obviously been pretty roughly handled during the journey. The soil was almostly completely out of the pots and the little one was crushed at the bottom of the box. The larger appears to have recovered somewhat, although having to brace with bamboo in an attempt to straighten it out. I hope the plants will be strong enough to recover fully.

Excellent pot but liner purchased in addition was of no use in the pot. Used polythene bag it was wrapped in instead!!

We love the products. We love the concept. We love the plants. However, we have been very disappointed by transport and delivery. We ordered twice and in both cases, the plants were damaged. All the granules were outside the pot and the roots were damaged. This has led each time to part of the plant dying. I warmly recommend you redesign how the plants are packaged and delivered.

Disappointed as my Sansevieria Fernwood Mikado had brown tips on every stem, plus one stem was withered maybe a couple of inches down, and although plant in itself was fine, had I seen it before purchasing I certainly wouldn't have bought it, especially as it was a gift. I contacted Hortology, have to say the girl was nice but I was told that was how the Mikado was and I could just snip off the tips! Disappointing as I've had plants from them before and been pleased.

Plant arrived in good state. Only comment is that the soil/compost was rather dry. If delivery had been delayed it might not have been in such a good state.

Whilst the plants arrived on time, were healthy and extremely well packaged, one of the plants didn't look very much like the picture on the website. I queried this and was given a refund. Very good service

On the whole not bad, I’ve had 2 deliveries and about 8 plants and a pot so far. All plants have been really healthy and very well packaged with fast delivery! I did buy a larger plant on my last order that was at lest 10cm shorter than advertised, I was expecting a taller and fuller plant, what I received was not worth the money. Hortology advised I had received the correct plant and gave me 10% off or offered to collect the plant free of charge, although disappointing they were at least willing to take it back! I have kept the plant as it was a nice specimen. I have had one pot from them and it was very well packaged and a lovely pot. Despite a slight disappointment with my smaller than expected plant, I would buy again due to quality of the plants and their willingness to correct any issues.
