“Not your fault. I think I just ordered badly. Delivery was prompt, and you managed to do it on the day, although you didn't think you could. I thought the leaf was much brighter and lighter than it is in reality, and I don't much like the pot. I chose carefully, but it is one of the hazards of buying from a picture. It was quite an expensive present but isn't at all interesting. I have seen much nicer at Waitrose for about half the price. My previous experience of Hortology was excellent, so I am not giving up on you”

“This was our first order from Hortology and the service was excellent. The plants arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. Due to a minor defect on one of the pots, noticed before dispatch, we were offered a choice of a replacement or a discount which was very kind. We received the discount promptly and I hardly noticed the defect when the pot arrived. All in all very professional!”

“It’s not my first order and this time for the first time I was slightly disappointed with the quality of the plant. It looks healthy but many leaves were trimmed to hide the brown dry edges. Leaves were also incorrectly wrapped which means they got damaged in transit. At £50 I’d expect a perfect, well maintained plant I hope my one will bounce back at home and soon new leaves will hide the cut outs and imperfections”
