Having been told that my sons replacement blinds ( that took 5 months 47 phone calls and 26hours of my time ) to replace Hillary’s consider to be fine . I on the other hand don’t. They have offered me £50 compensation for the damage the fitter caused to my sons walls . The law of our country is they have to replace the blinds until I am happy or give me a total refund. If they refuse to do either, then we go to small court . Never ever have a come across a company that treat they customers in such an appalling manner . Please for your own mental health do not use this company. My battle continues and I will not give up

Appalling customer service. Started off great, lovely sales chap, fitter was lovely. Post fit day it all went downhill. Our vertical patio blinds arrived the wrong size on the length so are just dragging along the floor. A manufacturing issue apparently. We had perfect fit blinds installed on some other windows and the following day a double glazed unit had a crack in it. The windows were brand new a month or so beforehand. It looks like a stress fracture where the blinds are fit too close to the glass and do not accommodate for (very normal) thermal expansion. The mind boggles. Hilary's have been a nightmare to contact - I sent the claim form over 3 times over the course of a few weeks before getting a response (all the while having a shattered window that we can not replace without removing/damaging the blinds so these need to be removed/reinstalled). Eventually they got back to us and we have sent a quote over for the replacement double glazed unit. They have come back asking that this is in a non editable format (it is a word doc, it is a small local company) as if the authenticity is in question. The format of a document can be easily changed by anybody with basic PC knowledge (I work for a tech firm) so this being sent in a format other than word would not confirm the authenticity. Hilary's are welcome to contact the company directly to verify this themselves, or indeed arrange a quote and replacement themselves, since the damage is a result of their product. They have also asked for the quote to be VAT registered. The quote does not include VAT (as I said, a small, local company so not VAT registered) so why on earth would they require this. Absolute absurd comments and I have been hung up on after being on hold on 3 separate occasions now. I am fuming at such terrible service from an allegedly reputable company and at the point of considering demanding a full refund since the security and safety of my windows is clearly not guaranteed with their product. I will be escalating my complaint to all of the relevant bodies.

I have decided that every time i wake up due to stress dealing with this company I will write a review . Please please do not use this company unless you want to suffer with stress and post. Dramatic stress order. Never ever have I come across such shocking customer care . 5 months of dealing with them have made me ill and still the trauma continues

Very poor service and “made to measure” Venetian blond sis not for correctly. This was never resolved by the fitter, whose solution was to ignore calls and messages and no-show to appointment made to resolve issue.

I'm sure the blinds are nice...if you can ever get someone to come round and measure the windows! Last week we had an appointment scheduled for, which I stayed home from work for. About half 9 we had a message saying the lady who was coming to measure had got covid so wouldn't be coming. How long are we going to keep cancelling things for because of covid?! But ok, annoying but we agreed to rearrange the appointment for a week later (tomorrow). We have just had an email saying the person coming to measure (not sure if it would have been the same lady who had covid), will not be coming because they are ill! So we have wasted a week to again not have anyone come to measure! We already have a quote from another company but have put them off as we wanted another quote, and now we have totally wasted our time. Hillary's obviously don't want the business!

Worst experience ever! Oxford representatives came took measurements and the full amount of money in advance for my blinds, but samples never arrived. When the fitter came he said that he could not get a parking permit (like all the rest of the people who have ever worked in our place, and left). No one was answering my calls or texts after that! The company was sending me contradictory emails. Finally, I managed to get a refund after three months of poor communication and a summer without blinds. Avoid.

Wrong measurements for wrong rooms and wrong blinds for wrong rooms. Poor attention to detail. Delayed delivery dates and extremely poor customer service. Delivery dates were not met because the concerned person was on holiday and no one else could take over ?!! The customer services manager had no solution and there just wasn’t an escalation point. Poorly managed company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Ordered WHITE vertical blinds which look GREENY YELLOW when all together!! Called customer service to say that perhaps they should have more than one of each sample so customers came see the final colour. Quite aggressive person on the other end who said it’s not their policy to do that and that’s the colour I chose so it’s not their problem that it looks a different colour when all together. I pointed out that it’s difficult to choose a colour from one tiny sample when there’s no indication of what it will look like when one slat is behind another. To this comment she started shouting and saying it’s not their problem!!!

Tried to cancel my order was treated with an aggressive woman on the phone who told me i couldn’t company policy was can’t cancel after two days. Pointed out i cancelled within seven day period,and as my salesman went on holiday the day after I placed my order and would not have the curtains for six weeks. The reason for my cancellation was because of such bad reviews,and am worried about spending a lot of money with such a bad company. Anyone thinking of using this company check carefully beforehand

I ordered shutter blinds waited 16 weeks which I did expect what I didn’t expect was that the shutters wouldn’t fit and I would end up with broken window and damage to my decoration and to add insult to injury I have had to seek to quotes for the window then claim money back from them I am still waiting for my refund 7 days later but they were quick to take my money when I ordered the shutters do not use this company if you want a good job

Very poor afterales service we had purchased shutters and unfortunately through our own action damaged 9 slats, we agreed to pay £75 for a call out charge and £15 per slat to replace. They took the £75 charge which I foolishly agreed, since then I have only experienced very poor service to try and arrange a date. Called 7 times and each time given poor excuses and written email was ignored. I requested a refund and they have refused to pay claiming it would be sorted by end of the day. They have not contacted and taken money. Extremely disappointed, strongly recommend NOT to use and find alternative company.

The worst company I have ever dealt with. Never turned up for fittings twice, then came unannounced and broke covid rules. When I told them I wanted my money back they took me to court for non payment . Tried many times to speak to them and they just ignore you. A useless company who have no control over their fitters. God forbid anyone who then has A problem with a fitting. Looking forward to the court hearing where it will be interesting to see what they think of a company breaking covid rules I have nothing good to say about this company.

Where to start? The fitter climbed over the work top damaged the plaster and the sink plug. Measured the window wrong spent two hours at our house before he could say it was wrong. The blinds don’t fit the windows and now they won’t refund us! Absolutely disgraceful service…
