We’ve been helping our customers create beautiful homes with our made-to-measure blinds, curtains, shutters and awnings for over 50 years.

Choosing the right window treatments can feel overwhelming, but with Hillarys you don't have to worry. When you buy a window dressing from us you can be sure it’s been lovingly finished to the highest standard by our skilled manufacturing team.

Every new design goes through a rigorous testing process that checks it will meet the demands of the average home. If the fabrics don’t meet our standards, they don’t make it into our range. Only the best performing styles should be in your home. It’s as simple as that!

When you book an in-home appointment, your friendly and knowledgeable local advisor will bring along samples of our full product range for you to have a look at, and they’ll work with you to find the right solution for your space. Our team knows all the tricks of the trade, bringing years of experience and expertise right to your doorstep.

They’ll take care of everything, from precise measuring to flawless installation, for a stress-free and stylish finish.

“Elizabeth the rep brought lots of samples. I was able to choose the shade of wooden slat the best matched my fireplace and furniture. Choice of tapped colours and 2 styles of cord pulls in various coloured metal.The fitted was efficient and quick and tidied up after. He gave advice on looking after the blinds. The only thing that I found negative is the pulls are high up and not easy to reach for someone who has balance and mobility issues. He also told me not to pull on the part with the single string to raise and lower the blind as it may weaken it. To pull the part at the top with more strand of strings but this is not possible without standing on a step as it is at almost ceiling in all blinds! Also how do I wind it around the clear to have them half way up or to clean windows if the single cord is too fragile. Is this a design fault. Why not have all the cords down through the bottom pull. The look is light and airy. Much brighter that heavy curtain piles, blackout curtains and fussy tie backs.”

“Very disappointing experience We chose Hillarys because, from their social media and online presence, they appeared to be a premium, professional company and one of the best options available. Unfortunately, our actual experience has been very different. Our original fitting in February revealed that all the blinds had been measured incorrectly, and we also reported damage to one of our uPVC window frames. After further visits, new measurements and an installer who was unable to remove the blinds, the fitting was eventually completed on 5 June, months after the original appointment. Hillarys offered us a £150 goodwill refund due to the problems and delays. However, as of 27 August, we are still waiting for it. We called again today and, once again, were told there are delays and poor communication between departments. Mistakes can happen, but the biggest disappointment has been the lack of communication, ownership and customer service throughout the whole process. Unfortunately, the reality has been very poor compared with the premium image Hillarys presents through its social media and marketing. We expected much better.”

“Very Happy with my new blind. It makes the kitchen nice and bright. The fitter Bill had to come back to replace the pelmet because it was a bit short. He returned within a few days and completed the job. The price was very reasonable too. I would recommend Hillarys.”

“My salesman Richard was very helpful in all aspects of my appointment. Along with my daughter he helped me choose which would either fit and suit the window better, or which would be more manageable for ne and my husband, as we have certain mobility issues. There was no pressure, and overall it was a good experience. I give Richard and Hillarys 5/5.”

“Local advisor Mike F. was very helpful and friendly during our in-home appointment. The product range he showed was impressive and we found just what was wanted. A few weeks later he came back and fitted the new blind. This was done efficiently and quickly.
