We’ve been helping our customers create beautiful homes with our made-to-measure blinds, curtains, shutters and awnings for over 50 years.

Choosing the right window treatments can feel overwhelming, but with Hillarys you don't have to worry. When you buy a window dressing from us you can be sure it’s been lovingly finished to the highest standard by our skilled manufacturing team.

Every new design goes through a rigorous testing process that checks it will meet the demands of the average home. If the fabrics don’t meet our standards, they don’t make it into our range. Only the best performing styles should be in your home. It’s as simple as that!

When you book an in-home appointment, your friendly and knowledgeable local advisor will bring along samples of our full product range for you to have a look at, and they’ll work with you to find the right solution for your space. Our team knows all the tricks of the trade, bringing years of experience and expertise right to your doorstep.

They’ll take care of everything, from precise measuring to flawless installation, for a stress-free and stylish finish.

It’s true, from the minute you get in touch to the magical moment you stand back and admire the end result, we’re only happy when you are. In fact, everyone at Hillarys cares about your home as much as you do and we really do take pride in getting it just right, which includes tidying up and leaving your home just as we found it too.

“I am so impressed by the service of Hillarys, from first contact, to the actual fitting, and I strongly feel I got the service I expected. I have a 5 window bay window in my flat and the blinds I had fitted are perfect. Didn't want to loose my stunning views but needed warmth too. Jonathan fitted them and was kind and explained the process well. I felt no pressure at all, and I even decided to have a bathroom blind too. Great service”

“Unhappy 0 reviews GB Rated 1 out of 5 stars Redirected Nightmare Nightmare. While they were quick to take our money, getting some fundamental issues resolved with faulty blinds and faulty installation has been painful and hugely time consuming. We were told to purchase natural wood for south facing windows, as they are more heat resistant, but they warped in weeks. I believe we were just upsold the most expensive blinds not the most suitable ones at almost £3000. When you send an email for help, you get different staff responding to the issue, usually just asking for photos, or the same information and there is no continuity. You have to chase continually to get answers. When they remade a blind because it was faulty, it took over a month to get someone to even agree an appointment to replace it, and when they did they said they were doing me a favour otherwise I need to wait until the new year. When they installed the front blinds, they did it so badly people can see in from the street. There is no privacy. After asking for help, even after an installer said it was done wrong, they then ask for more pictures rather than accept their own installers opinion or pictures. When I ask to speak with a manager I am fobbed off. For my lovely new house this has been beyond stressful and I will never use them again - think carefully if you are willing to struggle like I have after they have taken your money and 6 months later still struggling to get it sorted......off to court we may go....”

“Ordered three blinds, the chap came round, measured up, we agreed price. A couple of weeks later, he returned, with all blinds, fitted them in under an hour, no mess, no fuss, products are superb. If you want blinds, these are the guys to get them from. The only problem is that the part that attatched the chain together has come apart of a few occasions, but it IS a big heavy blind, if they could get in touch and provide a more heavy duty coupling, that would be great. (the problem is avoidable if I pull from a certain place above the coupling, it's okay, but you don't always remember to do this! (well, us blokes don't) Yeah, you could go to Argos or somewhere and buy them cheaper, but they would be a bugger to fit, no way would they look anywhere near as good, and it would take you a hell of a lot more than an hour to fit them! not worth the aggro, these guys know what they are doing, totally proffesional from start to finish. Many thanks.”

“I've been very happy with my curtains since they have been installed, the process was very efficient, and I got my options discussed with the specialist in great detail. The only drawback was the cost and the amount of time it took to get them installed, but a month later and that hardly seems like a drawback”

“Fantastic service. Phil was perfect, friendly (but not too much!), knowledgeable, professional, flexible (health issues kept me changing appts). Offered advice re colours, types etc. He fitted all himself. I am absolutely delighted with all the rooms. I would highly recommend him and Hillarys.”

“Hi we are so happy with our shutters, customer service easy to contact if needed. Our fitter Luke was excellent, really good job done and very tidy. Also advisor who came to quote for the work and show us products available was spot on. Only slight hitch was having to wait 4 months from ordering to fitting, global problem, it happens. Otherwise we are more than happy to recommend Hilary’s, job well done. We’re delighted with our shutters”
