We’ve been helping our customers create beautiful homes with our made-to-measure blinds, curtains, shutters and awnings for over 50 years.

Choosing the right window treatments can feel overwhelming, but with Hillarys you don't have to worry. When you buy a window dressing from us you can be sure it’s been lovingly finished to the highest standard by our skilled manufacturing team.

Every new design goes through a rigorous testing process that checks it will meet the demands of the average home. If the fabrics don’t meet our standards, they don’t make it into our range. Only the best performing styles should be in your home. It’s as simple as that!

When you book an in-home appointment, your friendly and knowledgeable local advisor will bring along samples of our full product range for you to have a look at, and they’ll work with you to find the right solution for your space. Our team knows all the tricks of the trade, bringing years of experience and expertise right to your doorstep.

They’ll take care of everything, from precise measuring to flawless installation, for a stress-free and stylish finish.

It’s true, from the minute you get in touch to the magical moment you stand back and admire the end result, we’re only happy when you are. “Lovely fitted blinds on the windows in the roof. Make such a big difference,wish we had done this years ago. Easy to request a visit and choose what style and colour you like. Fitted several weeks after. They look good.”

“My elderly parents were persuaded to buy extremely expensive blinds from Hillarys after being promised they would 100% be fitted within six weeks, ahead of an important event, with a specific fitting date of Saturday 6 June. They went to considerable effort to get people in to move furniture and prepare, only for that date to be missed. They were then given two further dates, which were also missed, and the installation was eventually delayed by over a month.all causing stress and worry. They could have gone with a cheaper company but chose Hillarys because they were told the quality and customer service were second to none. Sadly, neither lived up to expectations. When they called customer services to complain, they were hung up on twice by the call handler. When they did eventually find someone willing to speak with them they were told to wait until the blinds were fitted before discussing compensation. The eventual offer? 10% off their next order! The cheek ...why would they ever order from Hillarys again? What was particularly upsetting was the fitter telling my elderly parents that they shouldn't complain because any compensation would apparently come out of his own pocket. This felt like an attempt to play on their sensitive nature and make them feel guilty about pursuing a legitimate complaint. The blinds themselves are okay, but for the price, the quality and workmanship is nothing special. The customer service has been appalling from start to finish. Shop around and don’t assume that paying a premium means you’ll receive premium service.”

“Initial service was good and 3 x standard blinds were fitted satisfactorily. Due to staffing issues, the shutters I ordered weren’t fitted in May as planned, despite 50% deposit (£350) being paid in March. It’s now August and we still don’t have the shutters however Hillary’s are chasing for the rest of the payment. Dreadful service!”

“Service and blind were excellent. I only wish my window sill was level. The blind showed it up. The remote control I recommend. It is so easy and saves having to lean over the kitchen sink. Always have one of those.”

“I have no hesitation in recommending Hillarys. The initial consultation filled me with confidence; the representative had various samples that made the order process easy. Afterwards the fitter arrived to take detailed measurements. He was obviously very experienced and advised me to reconsider about the product I had selected. He was absolutely right, and I followed his advice. I was given a fitting date, but the company was flexible and I was able to select a date I preferred. The fitting process was extremely professional, a very tidy job and a superb result. I definitely recommend this company. I have one criticism: a few days before the fitting date I received an email from the company saying that they were unable to fulfill the order on the agreed date. I found that was surprising as I had already heard from the fitter, saying that my shutters were ready. I tried to phone the company and waited to be answered for about an hour, then requested a callback which I did not receive. I then texted the fitter who said this must be a technical IT issue as he had my shutters and would be there to fit them without fail. Indeed he was, and everything was completed beautifully. I only mention this as it caused me stress, and slightly spoiled an otherwise seamless experience. I think the product is excellent and I am very satisfied with my purchase.”
