We’ve been helping our customers create beautiful homes with our made-to-measure blinds, curtains, shutters and awnings for over 50 years.

Choosing the right window treatments can feel overwhelming, but with Hillarys you don't have to worry. When you buy a window dressing from us you can be sure it’s been lovingly finished to the highest standard by our skilled manufacturing team.

Every new design goes through a rigorous testing process that checks it will meet the demands of the average home. If the fabrics don’t meet our standards, they don’t make it into our range. Only the best performing styles should be in your home. It’s as simple as that!

When you book an in-home appointment, your friendly and knowledgeable local advisor will bring along samples of our full product range for you to have a look at, and they’ll work with you to find the right solution for your space. Our team knows all the tricks of the trade, bringing years of experience and expertise right to your doorstep.

They’ll take care of everything, from precise measuring to flawless installation, for a stress-free and stylish finish.

“Well so far I saved hard and ordered shutters for 4 windows. On the day of fitting no one turned up and no one had the decency to phone me. This was after I had to move couches beds and heavy furniture and for me in my 70s was very difficult. After chasing order fitter had personal problems so I should have shutters fitted next week. I just hope that when they are fitted I am pleased with them. So far experience not good.”

“From ordering curtain swatch samples, booking appointment(2), measuring and fitting; I received great customer service. I am pleased with my 2 x pairs of Pinch Pleat curtains and matching tie backs; both pairs drape and fit perfectly; one pair the lounge window and the second pair large patio window. The cost of the curtains came up above my budget "high" side. But, I suppose in reality you pay for Hillarys Quality and Service; with the end result being a satisfied customer.”

“Lack of communication . Had to chase samples over two and a half weeks. Second sales person advised final measurements to be taken within a few days.. After 10 working days...messaged sales person who didn't respond but fitter phoned three days later to arrange final measurements. 4 month wait to fit.... So far communication and actions very poor...”

“I find Hilarys Blinds to have a great choice of colours and patterns. The installation was only a few days after ordering and the installer was friendly and helpful when it came to taking off old brackets that I couldn't reach.”

“Graham arrived on time with samples. The choice of material from the samples included the cost range. After measuring and giving advice on the tracks I had already fitted he gave prices for the two windows. They were more than we were prepared to pay for the room which is a very occasional bedroom.”

“Absolutely love my new shutters. We moved home and the previous owner took all their window dressings with them. Instead of getting some cheap venetians from an online site decided that we would upgrade to Hillarys and get full height shutters in 3 rooms. Was a 13 week wait but I am so pleased with them. Beautifully built, the installer was really professional and worked quickly. My house is old and I am happy putting up a roller blind, but something like a shutter seems so difficult in windows that aren't very straight. I'd recommend to anyone.”
