We’ve been helping our customers create beautiful homes with our made-to-measure blinds, curtains, shutters and awnings for over 50 years.

Choosing the right window treatments can feel overwhelming, but with Hillarys you don't have to worry. When you buy a window dressing from us you can be sure it’s been lovingly finished to the highest standard by our skilled manufacturing team.

Every new design goes through a rigorous testing process that checks it will meet the demands of the average home. If the fabrics don’t meet our standards, they don’t make it into our range. Only the best performing styles should be in your home. It’s as simple as that!

When you book an in-home appointment, your friendly and knowledgeable local advisor will bring along samples of our full product range for you to have a look at, and they’ll work with you to find the right solution for your space. Our team knows all the tricks of the trade, bringing years of experience and expertise right to your doorstep.

They’ll take care of everything, from precise measuring to flawless installation, for a stress-free and stylish finish.

“Service is very good. Happy with most curtains and blinds. But have problem with long french window curtains. Hard to close and open. The runner which is in 2 parts comes apart so curtain get stuck in the gap and often comes off runner. Did mention it but told you should have had something put there. But no mention of fixing it.”

“The Hilary representative, Chris, was very knowledgeable and advised well. We are absolutely delighted with the result. We oredered Roman blinds and they fit and work beautifully. I would recommend Hillarys based on the lovely Chris - we are in Hereford.”

“My experience with Hillarys was pleasant from start to finish. I made an appointment by phone for the advisor to measure my windows for curtains. He came promptly and showed material samples. I selected my choice, then made another appointment for curtains to be fitted. He returned when he said and fitted curtains. I am very pleased with the result. Rachel Gillespie.”

“We recently had a new kitchen and wanted new blinds to finish it off, we made an appointment online for a weekend visit. The salesman arrived and we went through the process of what we wanted. I'd already had a quote from a local company and when I showed him the quote he matched it. We ended up having all of our downstairs curtains replaced with blinds and could'nt be happier, the salesman is also the fitter so having the same guy to deal with from start to finish was perfect. We've not had to deal with any return's nor refunds so I can't comment on that. Amazing service throughout. Thank You.”

“I’ve used Hillary’s in the past and this was another good experience. Winton was so helpful. He discussed the pros and cons of my choice and decision and fitted the track and hung the curtains beautifully. He also gave me advice on maintaining the smooth running of the curtains on the track.”

“From looking on line to booking a visit I was extremely happy with the quality of service I received. The visit was easy and friendly with no hard sell or pressure from the fitter. The fitting was completed within the hour with no mess after completion. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hillarys for fitting blinds. I will use them again when we have our venetian blind replaced.”

“Must give 5 because everything worked quickly and efficiently from Enquiry, through quotation, placing order and blinds installed very swiftly and in perfect working order. Nothing to complain about at any stage. I would certainly be happy to deal with this company again”

“Terrible quality products and absolute scammers. Despicable staff. Despicable staff, and terrible product quality, as well as services. I have been scammed, ordered a curtain worth £2000 pounds for my bedroom window, and got a patched curtain in both halves, the curtain has been patched twice each half. the outside of the curtain tips folds inside, it is short, and crooked. It looks absolutely terrible. I have had an absolute nightmare, from spending hours on the phone, being lied to by managers, and the sales person, the latter being the biggest scammer of all, saying I could get a full refund or they would fix it-replace as he placed a new order, you wait and wait, then you call and there is no order placed at all. This happened twice of a long period, since May. The seller, is named H Hussain Grain, and really deserves to be shamed. Not only he scammed me as he ruined my walls by drilling in multiple places that are now visible over the curtain. They refuse to get both seller and service managers on a call, as conveniently they say opposite things, he never returned to my house, and ended sending another seller that apparently also keeps lying. Poor quality employees or defected products happen everywhere, but it is as company that you can make things right, and show you are values and how committed you are to provide good quality products and services to your customers. Hillarys failed at that, despite me being patient and waiting for months ,believing in their word. Stay away from this company is my best advice. Date of experience: 22 May 2024”

“I am sorry to have to complain about your recently supplied and installed product. One of the blind strings has come loose from the plastic capsule. I cannot see how to open the capsule to replace the string. I have tried to contact Hillarys several times but just get a review reply .”

“Welll what can I say . Richard fitted us another electric blind. Richard explains how everything works and has so many different samples for you to choose from. We have also asked Richard to quote for a further electric blind. A very friendly and polite person . Excellent customer service, and there is no pressure from him. The prices he quoted are reasonable .”

“I contacted the central office of Hillary’s Blinds and they put me in contact with a local agent. David Nightingill. He arrived at the specified time and explained all the options. He fitted the blinds once they had been made and explained the workings of them (electrical). I had a problem, which I caused, and David came out on the next working day to put it right for me. Always very polite and helpful. Thoroughly recommend.”
