Every new design goes through a rigorous testing process that checks it will meet the demands of the average home. If the fabrics don’t meet our standards, they don’t make it into our range. Only the best performing styles should be in your home. It’s as simple as that!

When you book an in-home appointment, your friendly and knowledgeable local advisor will bring along samples of our full product range for you to have a look at, and they’ll work with you to find the right solution for your space. What a cowboys they are. They took the money and twice they came to fix the problem and couldn't fix the issue with light bleeding through the blinds and finally they gave up and now saying there is nothing wrong with the manufacturing and they don't do anything and they don't refund money. Deeply disappointed with their ethics. please note they will promise so much to get your order and they come and fit it. In my case. their sales agent suggested a day/night blinds for bedrooms telling us that we don' get any light coming through the blinds except edges, but this is not the case and light comes through everywhere and hard to sleep in bedroom. They twice sent someone for inspection and they both agreed and ordered new blinds to fix the problem, but the problem persists and they gave up at the end. when approached their customer service they blindly rejects and don't want to do anything, telling there was nothing wrong with the fabric. I would avoid this company at all costs. Since I posted the above review here on Trustpilot I have spoken with their Sales team on the contact number given in trustpilot and they have not changed their stance telling me that I have signed their order, when in fact their sales agent recommended the kind of fabric that would not allow light come through. The problem was not about the colour of the fabric, the problem was with the fabric going wavy, hence creating a gap in between allowing light bleed through. it was confirmed by their own inspection team when they were on site. Hillary's now denying a refund, just saying there was nothing wrong with blind, which is completely a lie.

Poor customer service. Once they take your money, they don't care. Wanted quality blackout blinds for my newborn nursery. Poor product as it still let a lot of light through. Called to see if there was anything they can do. Told no and nothing they can do. Extremely poor customer service.

From sale to survey to installation the service from Hillarys was excellent. We now have a beautiful electric awning providing us with plenty of shade on these hot summer days.

Our fitter Keith Holman arrived on time and was very friendly and helpful. He helped us choose our curtains and curtain poles which we are very pleased with. The curtains are beautifully made and Keith gave us advice on keeping curtains in good condition. We would happily recommend Hillary’s for new curtains.

As I had already received blind samples from Hillary's the sales visit was very quick and the blind that has been fitted is perfect. The fitting didn't go as smoothly. Even though my husband had told the fitter that the tiles were porcelain he arrived without the right drill bit as it he had broken it earlier in the week. So he couldn't fit the blind and had to come back on another day. Blind fitted but when I looked later at the blind after the fitter had left I noticed it wasn't straight in the window recess. I contacted customer services and they got back to me to say the fitter had ordered a new blind. Nothing wrong with the blind, just needed straightening up. The fitter rang and we discussed him coming out to sort out the blind. We arranged a date for him to come but then he got back to me to ask if head office had made the appointment or had I made it. I told him he had made the appt. He was actually day off that day so we had to rearrange. Blind now straight, problem had been due to one set of screws being loose. There was also an issue with documentation, I received an email with an order attached which was not mine. Fortunately no personal details on the order. Then before the blind had been fitted an email arrived to say that the blind had been fitted, no signature as it stated customer not present. Not true. Looking at other reviews it would appear that experience varies depending on who the salesman/fitter is.

Had blinds fitted some had gaps when closed I made a complaint and no-one called back I phone up again and still one reply again I would not recommend this company to anyone at all payed a lot of money for a very for a bad job

Your after-sales service leaves a lot to be desired. I've been waiting over a week to have some pieces fitted onto my small window blinds (recently installed by you) to enable them to be opened.

The blinds do look nice...but ror the high price we paid the aftercare is appalling.. we had blinds fitted on 5th May, and that night informed fitter that all the cords on all the blinds were way too short, needing a ladder to open and shut them. It took 3 weeks when fitter returned with only half of the "acorns" needed plus cord... And would return to finish the job when he had rest of bits.. I have text once to see what's happening but recieved no reply its now been 5 more weeks and still nothing.. terrible aftercare and I won't be using hillarys again even though the blinds are good.. we have since fixed the problem ourselves using parts from amazon so we could actually use blinds without a ladder....

Delighted with the blinds, Mark who came for the initially consultation and fitted them was excellent, gave me great advice. Very happen with the product and the quality is excellent. Would definitely recommend Hillarys.

Blinds were good except the large one in the lounge, only pulled one way not very easy, had it changed for a split one which works perfect, had to wait a long time for longer wands as mum could not reach up with the short one's, overall Brain the fitter/sales rep wasA1 and polite, service and lead time was good, would use again, pricing seemed ok.
