“I have fitted my own blinds before, but the lounge L-shaped bay window looked tricky so I called in the experts. The Hillarys agent Simon was excellent, really friendly and personable - he listened to our requirements, made a few suggestions, measured up and quoted a price that was lower than I expected given the measuring and fitting service included. A fitting date/time was agreed that was only a couple of weeks away - this was later confirmed by telephone when the blinds were delivered to the agent from the factory. The fitting, again performed by Simon, was a breeze, taking no time at all and, as expected, the blinds fitted perfectly and look great - really opening up what was a dark corner and making the whole room brighter and smarter. We could not be hapier with the product, price, and the service we received.”

“Perfect venetian blinds, fitted within minutes, like a bit of magic they transformed the kitchen instantly! I changed my mind about the size of the slats after ordering them and the consultant was able to accommodate that. The measure and fitting was to the millimetre. I'll be recommending Hillary's and ordering more.”

“Absolutely abysmal company. Our poor experience started with the design fitter quoting the incorrect lead time for shutters. We let this slip at first, but once our fitting date came and nobody showed up, we had to ring Hillary’s to be told that the shutters wouldn’t be fitted today as the fitter had left the company. I asked to speak to a manager and was told I would be contacted back within 3 days, which came and went and nothing. This happened a further 3 times of me chasing them. We finally got our new fit date which was over 2 months later than the original and were promised a good will gesture for our poor experience. We had to chase multiple times for this and today we finally have been offered a ridiculous £150 good will gesture for a £3900 order. I would never recommend to use Hillary’s. For such a big company we expected much better than the poor service we have experienced. Go elsewhere for blinds and shutters.”

“Our advisor 'Lavender' was also the fitter. He was professional and polite throughout. He rang and offered to arrive earlier than planned which suited us well. He was a clean and tidy worker, the motorised blinds fitted as planned and worked as they should beautifully. Thankyou .”

“My whole experience with Hillary’s has been a positive one. Starting with a knowledgeable and helpful representative. The fitting was straightforward and I was pleased with the result when finished. “These blinds are said by Hillary’s to be prefect .These are replacements blinds that took 5 months…..as the 1st ones were as bad . These do not resemble the advertised Blinds that they show on television or their website or in magazines. The stitching is shocking but I have been told they are up to Hillary’s standards…….!!!!!!!!!!!”

“Best price I could find, even with the electric motor on the blinds it came a bit cheaper than one of my quotes. The person quoting was also the installer, he was very helpful and courteous and arrived precisely on time.”

“6 months on for the most traumatic experience I have had with any company today I had to write a letter of intent. If Hillary’s dose not do the right thing then we will be off to small claims court. Now it is not about the money it’s about the appalling way I have been treated as customer. This company needs to take a long hard look at its self and decide if the direction that they have chosen is correct….which is where they put monetary gain over customer care !!!!!!!!”

“Agent arrived promptly,Had a good selection of samples to choose from. ordering and paying was simple and at a reasonable price. Agent called as soon as he knew the vertical blinds were delivered to him early and arranged to call the same day, He fitted both blinds quickly with no mess, however, we really love both sets of blinds, we could not wish for better to suit our decor but I have found that the larger ones do not have a suitable overlap and I have to arrange them very carefully so they do not leave a gap.”

“Don’t normally do feedback, but so pleased with Hillary‘s felt I had to. Had the vertical blinds fitted in living room in the teal colour and there absolutely gorgeous. The colour gives the room a lovely light. And the fitting was quick and painless as was the price. All boxes ticked . Will be coming back for kitchen and bedroom blinds very soon.”

“After having my sons blinds replaced because they were so bad ( it took 5 months and 47 phone calls and 26 hours of my time ) the replacement ones were as bad and the fitter damaged my sons walls . I have ask for a replacement or a refund as I am by law entitled to .They have offered be £50 ……..I will be taking them to small claims unless they trying to solve the situation. Absolutely appalling customer”
