“Nice jods shame that as a 14-16 I cant get the size 18 past my knees”

“I recently bought a pair of breeches which I was very happy with when they arrived. After one ride I noticed they had a hole appearing in them at the seam on the rear, which after close inspection I can see another forming lower down on the same seam also. They fit me fine, a bit baggy so was a disappointed with this occurrence.”

“Having signed up for gold plus membership and buying a few things I’m am now feeling very disappointed I had received a free groom bag for spending over £60 but had returned one coat for a refund and returned a gilet for a bigger Size I am now being told to return the free gift item as my order now falls under £60. Having a email to advise of this from the customer service team it takes ages to get a reply from them. I would rather not have had a free gift if it causes such a problem when returning items. To date I still haven’t received the gilet I requested for a bigger size or refund for the coat. My last email to them was to ask if I spent more on other items (same total as the coat that I had returned) if I could then keep the free gift and have the larger size gilet. Still nothing back from the team. They can have the free gift back a small groom bag that claims to be worth £17.50 but really not worth the money but I thought would be handy for shows. But I don’t think I should have to pay to return it. Other than me obviously not reading the small print about returning your free gift if you return anything - maybe this should be in bold on the returns form?!I was very happy that the original order came so quickly.”

“I bought this to use as a fly rug but on using it for the first time it slipped back terribly and the neck came un done. I sent pictures to Harry Hall who say it is a fitting issue and needed tightening at the front and a bigger size. My horse is definitely not a 7’6 and you can’t tighten it at the front as they’re fixed straps. It also failed to come with leg straps as described. I would therefore definitely not recommend it as a field fly rug as it really slipped badly back from the movement of the horse. It’s a shame that I can’t return it given the poor fit and have in effect wasted my money.”

“Previously bought some beautifully embroidered riding polo shirts for my daughter. This recent set are not as good quality and the name embroidery on the right hand side is much bigger than expected and as shown in the photographs.”

“Very disappointed! I had asked how the boots did up as I didnt want to keep lacing them up and was told it was a zip ... it is a zip but you also have to lace them up. Have worn three times and the zip has come unstitched which makes it difficult to undo. Look lovely but not fit for purpose sadly”

“The low rating is just because the leg length was about 2 inches too short (I'm 5ft10 but only have 31" leg length which is pretty average). Otherwise they looked well made”

“I love Harry Hall jods but sadly these are way too tight on me. I'm normally a size 26 but ordered 28 after reading other reviews. Still too small. Lovely breeches otherwise.”

“£25 Voucher that you get with trailer insurance check small print - mine said no minimum spend on one line then £50 on another. HH won’t honour the no minimum spend. Plus only 2 expiry date on it. Disappointing as you can get the insurance for the same price if not cheaper elsewhere.”
